Who has faster hands, Mayweather or Khan?

Challenging question. Floyd doesn't just rely on his speed to win whereas Khan does. Floyd has the talent to throw fast combos like Khan but he is a very patient fighter and uses his counter punching just as well as his speed.


All in all, I would have to say Amir has slightly faster hands regarding throwing combos, but Mayweather has a quicker release. BasicallyFloyd's one punch speed is quicker than Amir's one punch speed, IMO.

 

Khan has faster hands, but it really doesn't matter because Floyd's length and reflexes are at least 2 levels above those of Khan...not to mention being 2 levels better in every other department(except power) as well.

 

Khan is much faster than Void and he hits harder, but he needs to adjust his defense, plus, the referee, judges, boxing commission, etc., will always be on Void's side. You have to knock Void out to get a split decision..........

Side by side comparison watching both of them throw jabs in slow motion it seems to me khan is slightly faster... However, this doesn't mean he has the faster reflexes. Speed becomes a factor when your opponent can't see the shots coming at all. Floyd has seen his share of fast fighters (Judah mainly) and dealt with him well. Even with single shots Floyd is slower... It won't matter though. Speed isn't as important as many make it out to be...

Khan is a lot faster. He showed to be a lot faster than Judah which mayweather didn't. Past it or not, Judah's speed is still there when he throws single shots.
