Seconded. Before his last fight against Forbes I had never seen him fight but his hand speed is ridiculous. He could cause real problems to fighters like Cotto, Clottey, Willliams, etc.

Yes, Amir doesn't get a lot of respect around here but he has a great offensive arsenal and will be back. It's just his age leads him to a recklessness he shows in the ring and which is why people call him chinless. My money is more on age and his disrespect on the power of others than being chinless. But you are right as to his speed. He fights a bit like a young Hoya.

Dawson and Mundine have a quicker one punch than Calzaghe

  7. He did in the first round - jones faster than joe, but that was after he kd'd joe - when joe was a bit wary, soon after joe was faster - jones couldnt get his shots off before joe had already hit him.

also - hatton is actually very fast - both hand and foot, he just doesnt use it as wisely as he should.

I credit both Gamboa and Dawson with that distinction.

calzaghe springs to mind as a top four for speed.
he is no 1 for most punches thrown for sure.

Lol , everything with you is British, SO BIAS...

I would have to say, the two boxers who stand out to me are Berto and Gamboa ,, Chad Dawson is extremely fast for a lightweight and so is Calzaghe
