    Let's have some names.

    Miguel Cotto 147
    Shane Mosley 147
    Kelly Pavlik 154...if not 160.

Would that make him the greatest ever?

Pavlik won't make 154lbs, and Floyd wouldn't fight him (and with good reason).

He needs to fight Cotto, and if he continues to fight, the next best challenger.

The best in his division for starters, if he would unify and become true undisputed champ at 147 I think it would help but floyd won't dare to be great he is scared of loosing. I don't care what you say you have to admit he does not go after the best challenges.

Who has he ducked would you say?

If he fights Cotto and goes up for Pavlik, I don't think anyone could question his legacy. The only thing left for him to do is shed 20 lbs and fight Pacquiao.

For legacy: Cotto, Margarito/Cintron, Forrest/Spinks, Pavlik.

For money: De La Hoya, De La Hoya, Big Show, De La Hoya

How can you suggest PAVLIK???? Thats unrealistic you might as well ask him to fight David HAYE.

I would like to see Floyd unify a division for the first time in his life. Beat all the belt holders at 147 and retire.

I think everyone would prefer to see Mayweather v Mosley, rather than Margarito, Cintron, forrest or Spinks.

I don't see why Mayweather Pavlik is impossible, stranger things have happened.

After you beat the best quality, quantity is next to go after. Look at SRR, he has both quality AND quantity. Beating Cotto, Mosley, Spinks, Margo, Forrest. I fancy his chances against Sturm, not a great fighter but chance to create more history again. If Juan Diaz unifies 135 Floyd could meet him at 140.

LMAO @ Floyd fighting Pavilk. That fight has no chance at happening. Pavlik is a hard hitting middleweight. ****, if Floyd fought and won all these fights you mentioned, then he is the greatest of all-time (just for beating Pav at 160), but we all know that ain't going to happen. Floyd just needs Cotto. Cotto pushes him into the top 20 ATG probably.

Beat Cotto, and for now the rest of the field is a moot point. Cotto it is.
