Judah was holding title despite his lost to Baldimir
Hatton was undefeated holding a title
Marquez was p4p #2 at the time

Now lets take a look at Pac
Hatton coming in off of a lost with no title
Clottey coming off a lost with no title
Mosley coming in off of a lost with no title

    See the pattern here?

Yeah makes total sense as long as you don't look at the fact that two of Pac's list was beaten by FMJ first and the remainder of his list Mayweather fought the guy who bested them. That isn't even counting the out of the ring tricks and traps.

But yet he still remains undefeated and the most skillful fighter of this era. Men and women lie numbers don't.

So it's OK for pac to fight boxers who is two weight divisions lower than him as long as he is #2 at that time?!:yep

Pac was busy fighting boxers bigger than him while Mayweather was busy fighting boxers lower who's competitive weight is lower than him?!

    See the pattern here?!

Hatton had to move up 1 divison, Pac beat him FASTER than Mayweather could in his best weight division at 140lbs. So you are actually giving 100% credit to Mayweather for beating Marquez who is two weight divisions higher than his actual fighting weight?! :patsch

With that arguement you are admitting CALZAGHE is better than Mayweather?! :rofl

I agree he may be undefeated but in essence is he really better fighter than PAC. If 0 basis is your arguement of a better boxer it means all boxers with 0 losses is better than somebody who has already a loss.

It's nice to have a 0 loss but it does NOT AUTOMATICALLY THAT BOXER IS BETTER or MORE IMPRESSIVE!

If you can make a guy drain himself 20lbs and he's naturally the bigger man and come in the ring on fight night looking like the smaller man (Oscar De la Holye) and catch weight damn near all your opponents. Then there's nothing wrong with what Floyd did.

It's not just his zero that makes him the best it's his skill. Calzaghe was never then now or never as skilled as Mayweather. Sure he retired with a lost and I'm sure he will be mention in the future long after he's gone, if some British fans are talking about boxing, but he was definitely not the best star or fighter of this era.

I'm saying is why give full credit for a guy who's opponent had to move up two weight diviisons... and yet mayweather can't finish him off. Did you really give Marquez a chance to win?! Really?! Marquez fans themselves did not give their idol a chance coz he does not belong to that diviison. Kudos for Marquez for being brave!

Oscar dela hoya. Despite his weight. prior to the fight did you recall that pac fans were being called stupid and even rediculed that he was no match to oscar because of size difference. It was like david and goliath.

Do I have to explain what happned?!:yep Boxing experts looked amature or stupid for wrongly predicting odlh would win! As far as I recall (boxong experts NOBODY GAVE MARQUEZ a chance to win over Mayweather although all his fans were hoping he would win. I personally don't think Marquez lost because of his skills he lost because of was simply too heavy! Marqeuz vs Mayweather at 130 to 135lbs is a totally difference story!

I know but pac also showed his skills more impressively than mayweather. If mayweather was busy fighting probably he will still be #1 if he was beating the best available but unforetunately it did not happen..

I honestly think it takes more skill to dominate a boxer for a full 12 rounds, than it is to KO them because like someone having an excuse as to why they lost ( Example Zab vs Amir ) they can always blame it on a punch they never saw coming. Which is why i give Floyd more credit because he beats his opponents more convincingly at a proper weight, coming off a good win. None of this draining bull****.

Okay, so that means all fights above 140, not at 140.

    So for Mayweather that is:

    Mitchell
    Judah
    Baldomir
    De La Hoya
    Hatton
    Marquez
    Mosley
    and upcoming is Ortiz

    Pacquiao:
    De La Hoya
    Cotto
    Clottey
    Margarito
    Mosley
    and upcoming Marquez.

Well, it looks like Top Rank vs Golden Boy rosters, let's break it down:
Mitchell is a throw away win and was a tune up for Judah. So scratch that.

Cotto is the best win between the two of them(though Plasterfist beat on him before Pacquiao fought, no telling what that has done to his punch resistance), though it is "tainted" because a world title was fought for at a catchweight.

The DLH that Mayweather fought is better than the Zombie DLH with track marks that Pacquiao fought.

Mosley that Mayweather fought beat up Margarito, who was found out to be a glove loading fraud, and was better than the version that Pacquiao fought.

    Baldomir beat Clottey.

Mayweather beat DLH, Hatton, and Mosley before Pacquiao did. So that has to weigh in for something.

All in all they are about even really.

That version of Mosley hadn't fought in a year and a half when they finally fought.

Pac beat beat the oldest version of Mosley but Mayweather's Mosley wasn't that much worse.

Its probably dead even with Ortiz being a deal breaker in September.
