Who has fought Better opposition at 147??

    Margarito IMO.... Williams, Cotto, Cintron, Clottey, "6 heads" Lewis, Antonio Diaz.... trumps Mayweather's.... Judah, Hatton, Baldomir, Sharmba Mitchell.

    Hatton is clearly not a true welterweight, Mitchell was old, and Baldomir ain't much in all honesty. While all of Margo's best opponenets were true top 10 ranked welters in their primes.

    All very very real and honest, yet knowing what we know about both guys somehow people think Margarito is an easy fight for Mayweather, my question is how can they conclude that idea, when Floyd hasnt been in there with a true welter weight in their prime who is in the top ten????

    You just cant say Floyd will easily win we dont know what he will look like in there with a live welter in their prime who is legit

    Margarito easily. However I believe Mayweather would beat Margarito if the two have a match in 2009.

    I agree.

    If Floyd was a natural welterweight then i think he would box rings around Margo, but he isn't. There is only so far you can go up in weight before you get beat by someone who, skill wise, may not be in your league.

    Its like people thinking its a foregone conclusion that Pac will destroy Hatton just because of what he done to DLH. Granted, Pac is a better all around boxer than Ricky and if they were naturally the same size then Pac wins comfortably but Pac isn't a natural 140 pounder and we don't know how well he can handle a live fighter over 130 lbs.
