Carlos Takem is a solid top ten heavyweight who has faced the best in his division, such as Parker, Joshua and Povetkin.

Do you agree he's faced better opposition than Deontay Wilder?

I have more respect for true ring warriors like Takem than I do for very protected paper titleholders like Wilder, who has been unwilling to face any decent prime heavyweight, and instead fights old faded inactive guys like Bermane Stiverne and limited journeymen like Artur Szpilka.

Takam easily. Takam is a road warrior...... He'd go through Wilders resume undefeated.

Lol! Come on. That’s like asking who’s the more classier and exciting fighter Loma or Floyd?

Easily. Wilder will be legitimizing it with his Ortiz fight though imho

Ortiz is officially age 38, probably older. He was inactive for a full year before last December, when he faced a soft clubfighter. He's past his best and has never had a world title. He will not be a really good win for Wilder.

If Wilder went to the UK and fought Joshua, that would legitimize him. But fighting another old man will not earn him any respect.

Takam isn't and never was a top 10 heavyweight. He's top 15-20 at best.
He couldn't even beat Perez, who is a scrub at heavyweight and cruiserweight.

Takam is a safe opponent to give top 10 heavyweights some rounds, since he's durable, but has no power or a gas tank. Povetkin completely carried Takam before destroying him and Parker easily outboxed him. If Joshua wouldn't have showed up overweight he would've ended Takam in 3-5 rounds.

Of course he's faced vastly better hws than Wilder. Aj, Parker and Povetkin are all better than anyone Wilder ever faced and possibly better than Wilder. Takam did lose to all of them though. That said, Takam would also be favored against everyone Wilder has beat up to this point.

Well Takam, obviously. But he also lost against the best fighters he fought, albeit he never gave anyone an easy night.

I respect the hell out of him regardless. Genuine top ten fighter with guts and desire who isn't afraid to take on anyone in the sport. He'd likely beat Pulev right now, and would grind out a win over limited sluggers like Breazeale and Whyte, who are currently clogging up the top ten. I'd also give him a damn good shot at beating Wilder himself, though that fight's never going to happen unless Takam suddenly decides to throw in his pride and agree to take a dive.

Takam wasn't at his best vs Perez and showed up 15-20lbs above his best weight. A fit Takam probably would of edged Perez.

But I think Takam is currently a top 15 heavyweight, but lacks the size and power to be a serious threat but will always be skilled enough and durable enough to give anyone a competitive fight.

Povetkin didn't carry him, that's a ludicrous statement, he really struggled with Takam and had to take flush power shots that physically moved him. Had Takam any real power Povetkin might of been in serious trouble in that fight, he took some huge shots.

Parker also struggled, to say he easily out boxed him is disingenuous, it was a close fight.

Not sure why you bothered to respond to that guy, to be honest. He constantly spews the same nonsense, regardless of how often he's called out on it.
