He is throwing less combinations in the last 5 years than he did previous to that.
This suggests to me that he is lazy and arrogant.....sure he wins points decisions but he looks unsophisticated.....I would say by virtue of not fighting world class opponents with consistency, his ageing and health issues, sorry Luds but he hasn't improved.:hi:

Mundine has fought the better opposition and has had the better career thus far.

 

These 3 are the main 3 that come up in conversation regularly over the last 3 yrs as opponents that for Mundine. I have maintained from day dot he could beat all 3 of them. I have also said he wouldnt beat Hopkins, Calzaghe, Jermaine Taylor and so on and so forth.

Sturm would be the easiest of the 3 as his style is perfect for how Mundine fights. Sturm is not a pressure fighter or an overly big puncher and fights out of a covered position and has shown that he likes to take some heat to give his own.

If you matched Danny Green with him he would own this chap within the distance so therefore Mundine has beaten someone of this calibre. If a poll was made - Green v Sturm who wins and why? I reckon Green would win easily imo.

 

**** me teke, I could beat Mike Tyson on my day. Its just that that day I 'dve used a gattling gun and machete.
