Who has had the fastest hands in boxing in the last 30 years? I think Meldrick Taylor first,Sugar Shane second, Ray leonard 3rd, Camacho 4th, Roy Jones 5th, Zab Judah 6th Money May 7th, Sweet Pea 8th, Manny Pac 9th, Oscar De la hoya 10th honorable mentions Sharba Mitchell, Terry Norris and Johnny Tapia

Either Camacho or Taylor. I'll say Taylor had slightly quicker fast-twitch muscles, but Camacho was the overall faster fighter, and really a phenom at 130.

Jones is possibly the overall fastest fighter of all time though.

Camacho was the reason LEonard came out of retirement. He started feeling left out since everyone was talking bout Camachos speed... Camacho gets left out of these conversations too often

true comacho does get left out on esb. but he kinda put it on himself. the drugs ****ed him over also he was an arrogant fool who wouldnt accpet fight unless he had a fair margin of the affair.

    underated talent though.

i personaly feel taylors handspeed was unmatched in his whole career. he threw amazing combo's and an amazing rate.

he just was neither a fighter, puncher or a boxer. didnt have the hieght or reach to jab and move to any major effect and wasnt able to swarm due to his lack of pop.

RJJ was the fastest overall. The problem is that Roy didn't do flurries to win rounds like many of the people there. Considering his weight and the fact that he had much more power than those listed, he more or less through really fast sharp shots from awkward angles by virtue of his extraordinary movements in regards his reflexes throw combos very differently then most. It was like Roy saw into the matrix of boxing in his prime. He simply did not need to flurry and it was not his style.

I have never seen ANYONE, not Taylor, or anyone in imo throw 5 left hooks in 1 second like Roy did in his prime. I have never seen anyone who could do this with one hand so fast AND WITH POWER. Taylor throw more so arm punches.

Look at this vid I found on Youtube -- 5 left hooks in 1 sec.

As much as I love Roy...and definately agree that he deserves mention. NOONE and I mean NOONE put combos together at such LIGHTNING SPEED as Meldrick Taylor.

Noone is arguing skill here...just asking about speed. Its like making a post about ATG chins....you will get mention of Oliver Mccall, but aint nobody gonna mistake Mccall for Ali.
