who has had the fastest hands in boxing in the last 30 years?

    at welter or light?

    pesonally his handspeed and combo's were faster at welter from what i remember. at lightwieght he just was an awkward boxer puncher. discuss

    of course, this is true:good . proportion creates speed in a way.

    but you got to have enough torque to pull those arms into position
    you have to be small also as big longer arms need more wieght to pull these arms and thus be slower.

    jung coo chang had amazing handspeed aswell but for some reason didnt have the snap/combinations that these midwieght divisions have
    from around 126 - 147 will always create the fastest fighters

    What is so impressive here is the length of Ali's punches. Sure the RJJ Hooks are impressive but look how much further these Ali punches travel.

    Camacho was the fastest in the last 30 years IMO
