He said this in the Ricky Hatton documentary last night as well.

Can't see anything wrong with it. The only way he'll be seen as successful is if his fighters are, not as if he's saying something that would benefit him, but not his fighters.

Oh Rabchenko is 5'10? didn't know that, thought he was shorter, still, not exactly the same style as SENchenko

interesting though, just wondering what his sparring was here, because thats always important

I reckon there is a reason all information about sparring is proper on the DL.

Having watched the documentary, I fancy Hatton gets stopped.

honestly I didnt see it mate but if Hatton was to take a stoppage style beating then he is in this fight for alterior reasons, even Paulie struggled to find a reason for Senchenko to win

Go and watch it on catch up & tell me Hatton isnt punch drunk...

This isn't a prime Hatton we are talking about, not even close. I don't know much about Senchenko, but to me he looks like a strait up and down euro fighter with a decent jab.

This isn't about him being good, but Hatton being bad. Senchenko is a career 147 fighter so he should be able to handle Ricky's power initially. If he makes it through the first 3 or 4 rounds, once Hatton starts eating jabs & left hooks, he's getting taken out.

ah well I know quite a bit about Senchenko, but unless Hatton is dead, and I mean literally dead, he can catch Senchenko

Malignaggi says Senchenko doesnt use his size, that you may as well be fighting an average sized fighter cus all he has is a jab, to be honest, from what I've seen, I agree, Hatoon must be bad,BAD, to lose to Senchenko, he must be dire to get stopped

he says Senchenko is big, but not physical at all

Ive not liked the look of Ricky in the bits and pieces of training footage Ive seen, but Senchenko or whatever aint been brought in to win, theyve looked around for a fighter with a solid record, but without the tools to trouble Ricky.
This is a Hatton stoppage win, make no mistake about that.

You can't help but like Ricky. That's his problem - too many people telling him what he wants to hear, to make him pleased. He looked significantly slower from what I've seen. I don't think he'll win. I think he'll fade badly down the stretch and the fight will get ugly. I hope I'm wrong.

He's also done a bit with 2-0 welterweight Sam Eggington, remember the name.

I wouldn't use the term "punch drunk", but he's not a million miles away from it, is he?

So this whole "showing the fight in the barracks" bit might not be a vote of confidence, but a sense of his delusion?
