What has Ward been doing for the last 4 1/2 - 5 years? Fighting the cream of the crop? Kovalev isn't a can crusher, he's beaten some of the best names of his division. Funny how you claim not to be biased.:patsch

    No.

Ward's foot speed, jab, infighting and counter punching abilities will be WAY too much for the plodding come forward suspect defense Bumlovkin. That fight isn't even competitive...

So you are saying Ward beating Kovalev does nothing for his resume/legacy. Cool.

Ward hasn't done anything since beating Froch. Dawson was drained and shot to bits, and since then it's been nothing but joke fights. Yeah there's an argument for Ward having a better resume overall, but his last couple of years have been far worse than Kovalevs.

Bumlovkin could have had the Alvarez fight. All he needed to do was A) realize he's NOT the "A" side and B) accept Canelo's terms. Instead of doing that, Bumlovkin prefers to fight a welterweight.

    LMAO...

Didn't Dawson get outboxed then KO'ed by Ward in his very next fight?

In the grand scheme of things - no, it doesn't. The only thing beating KANvalev does for Ward is make him the undisputed best LHW on the planet. Ward has already beaten better fighters...

Who was drained... He then went on to get KO'd inside of a round in his very next fight, and then lost to the mediocre Karpency.

    If you say so, however, the FACT still stands;

Ward's resume urinates and defecates all over KANvalev's.

I've never seen a guy get so much traction out of beating a *50* year ole' man...

Didn't Dawson beat Hopkins BEFORE KANvalev?

    Isn't Hopkins KANvalev's BEST win?

    Pot, Kettle, BLACK.

Simple arithmetic. You should learn how it all adds up, Einstein...

    No, it isn't.

The FACT of the matter is Ward holds Ws over the guys who BEAT the two best names on KANvalev's resume.

Like I said, Ward's resume urinates and defecates all over KANvalev's.

FACTS. Learn to live with them...

If you want to play that game... On the flip side. Pascal had Dawsons number. Who Kovalev beat twice.

Dawson isn't a great win in hindsight. In fact it's far inferior to his wins over Froch and Kessler. Dawson was drained and not himself that night, why didn't Ward fight him at 175 where a lot more would be at stake instead of draining him? Dawson went on to get kO'd inside of a round in his very next fight, and then drop a decision to mediocre Karpency.

Again. Ward has a slightly better resume. I know you're so insecure that you feel that need to **** all over Kovalev and downplay his worth, but there really isn't a whole lot between them resume wise. Mostly due to Wards inactivity/lack of meaningful fights in the last couple of years.
