I want to know what fighter's Snr has trained (any of significance and potential), and are they any good as I don't currently know too much about who he trained other than his son and Hatton.
He trained DLh for a while and Chad Dawson I'm sure I can think of a few more, he's a **** trainer if that's what you're trying to find out.
Oh yeah Hoya was with him for a while. But has he got any boxer under him thats been with him for a while, not just for a few matches but a consistent period, I want to see what they're fights are like?
he trained Dawson for a while but said his Chin was crap so he did not want to waste his time with him anymore. It was in an interview on the website that has news about fights. :roflatsch
That's because sr only knows one way to train. Instead of capitalizing on Oscar's strngths, he tried to completly turn him into a different fighter. I remember during one fight (I think it was Campas but I'm not sure). There is a round where Oscar completly spanks Campas and it's clear that Campas is overmatched and when he gets back to the corner, Floyd says "use your ****ing jab" I can't get the rest of the quote verbatum but for the most part he said that even if Campas is dead on his feet he wanted Oscar to shoulder roll and be defensive.
Telling ODLH to use his jab IS capitalizing on Oscar's strengths (his left hand). And other than vs Tito, ODLH may have had his best overall performance under Mayweather Snr in the Vargas fight, where he actually landed some significant right hands in that fight to set up the left hook.
Big Floyd once said after his scrap with SRL that he wouldn go all the way , didnt have the punch etc etc. what do **** does he know sweaty sock smoking joker.
the self proclaimed "best trainer in the world" sure has a lot of fighters. But Ricky Hatton is by far his best Stallion! lol The mans a joke
I'll give you a small list, noob. Oscar De La Hoya Franciso "Panchito" Bojado Chad Dawson Joan Guzman
