Who has more effective takedowns?

    Lesnar or Randleman. Not p4p or anything, who would take down more people more efficiently? Prime vs prime in MMA.

    I have not seen Lensar in with somebody who is great at stuffing takedowns, but he couldnt take Coture down at will. I think we need to see more of Lesnar against fighters who are good at stoping takedowns.

    On a side note, I have always thought that Kevin looks a lot like Floyd Jr. :D

    Depends. I think that Randleman has a more explosive outside shot... but I think that Lesnar has more strength, and can take down an opponent easier from clinch situations. Don't get me wrong though... Lesnar also has a good shot from the outside. I just think that Randleman is (was) more explosive which really helps getting deep penetration for a more effective takedown.

    Now... if you put them in against a guy with good takedown defense... Lesnar's strength could make him more effective because it can turn into a dogfight for position, angles, leverage, and control.
