Which of these former Olympic Medalists is more likely to be heavyweight champion someday?

Wilders power can have an opponent scared before the first bell even rings

    True.

But Joshua seems to have better technical skills and a better chin.

In heavyweight boxing skill and chin doesnt always matter
Wilder is awkward as **** he hardly has any skill and chin is bad but his speed reflexes and power will save him from losses

Wilder has TERRIBLE technique, especially considering that he's had 28, soon to be 29 fights.

    They're moving him very slowly.

Wladimir Klitschko turned pro at age 20 in Nov 1996. When Wlad was a pro just 2 years and age 22, he began fighting stronger quality journeymen than Wilder has been in with this year. When he was a pro 3 years, he was fighting contenders like Monte Barrett and he then fought Chris Byrd for the WBO world title before reaching 4 years as a pro.

Wilder has been a pro for 5 years and he's still fighting the likes of pot-bellied Greer and poor old shot Sergey.

I think Joshua will be moved faster and may fight for a world title before his 4th year, like Wladimir.

It's likely that Wilder will b a millionaire before his first legit title fight.

BUT......Considering his late start n the game....he's about where he should b in terms of LOC.....
If Joshua is moved similar to Wilder he'd b more ridiculed.

I don't think either are potentially great. I'd rather take the still amateur Ivan Dychko above the pair if truth be told.

Wilder's a fraud, who's packing glass in his mandible. Virtually any prospect around has more upside.

You just said it, Wlad turned pro at 20. Wilder didn't even start boxing until age 21 and only had about 35 amateur fights. All boxers are not the same. They enter the pro ranks at different experience levels and therefore have different learning curves. You wouldn't expect a guy like Anthony Joshua to fight for a title in his 12 th fight against a p4p elite fighter just because Rigondeaux did.

Joshua outclassed Dychko in their two fights I've seen, in the Olympics and one before that.

Felix Savon Jr was robbed against Joshua in the Olympics. He would do well if he defected from Cuba.

Roberto Cammarelle would have been a top-notch pro heavyweight (I thought Joshua got a gift decision against him in the Olympics) but he's getting old now.

Dychko, for me is younger, seemed more suited to the pros and appears to have more in his locker than Joshua, who hardly "outclassed" him in the Olympics. Joshua winning 14-11 in a close one was hardly an outclassing, especially considering the gifts Joshua was given. Hope Fast Eddie has deep pockets.

Savon Jr would indeed be a great pro, a few of the Cuban's at the Olympics would be.

Cammarelle I agree with EVERY world you said there

    A better chin?

Wilder has been put down exactly twice, once in the Ams and once in the Pros. (and both times he got right up and KO'd his opponent.) Joshua has never even fought on the pros yet.

    WTF?

Joshua is a VERY exciting prospect, but let's not forget the Audley Harrison factor.

Wilder has fought mostly bums, but some of them were very hard hitters, with good KO percentages in pro fights.
