Who has more Power, Wilder or Joshua?

All this is very subjective untill they both fight. I’m a big AJ fan and been too numerous fights but seen wilder a fair few times on tv. Whilst it’s a who lands first type of fight. I would back AJ because he has more in his arsenal than wilder.

My money is on wilder throwing and AJ counter

 

It's a fair point your making, but if we're being fair who's Joshua best ko win. Povetkin, was thought to have a granite chin in his prime but clearly not prime now.

Takam, bad referee stoppage. Knocked off balance from a left hook in an earlier round and barely buzzed when the ref jumped in to end it.
Whyte, for me this is his best ko. Finish was devastating. It won't get the recognition because Whytes not considered elite.

If you compare both resumes and ko's. Joshua just edges it for me.

 

Why would we need to wait to see them fight, there not known for having steely chins. They can probably hurt each other if they land flush. They both beat Molina, so we have a reference point, but Molina looked like he quit against Joshua, it's hard to rate that stoppage.

I’m not claiming he’s an accurate puncher, or a puncher with great technique. I think you misunderstand. I’m simply of the opinion that his punches, when they do land accurately have a more concentrated effect, due to the speed in which they land. Wilder is like getting hit with a stiletto where as Joshua is like getting it with a frying pan, if you get the analogy. I don’t think the thread is about style, fundementals etc.

 

I don't see Joshua with that explosive power like Wilder has. So Wilder gets my vote.

On a punchbag measuring machine type thing; where balance, coordination, follow up footwork, ability to dodge, fear of a counter, technique etc don't matter....you just load up and hit--AJ wins. Same criteria in the ring-Wilder
