If you look on the Brit forum you will see that most Brits do not give Haye much chance against Vitali and probably two thirds think Wlad KOs him too. The difference is that whilst Wlad is the better boxer than Vitali, we know that Wlad can and has been beaten by lesser boxers than himself. Vitali has that ****ing titanium chin, so even if someone like Haye lands...so what? I remember when Lewis landed the uppercut in the 6th and I was half way out of my chair to celebrate, and then saw he was still on his feet, and I was like "What the **** is going on? He's supposed to be on the floor". The only thing that annoys me is people saying Haye has done nothing, is a bum and so on. People saying he would lose to ****ing Cunnigham etc. And guys like Zakman just repeating "He will be KOd by the first decent puncher" after his initial thing of "He will be KOd by the first genuine heavy" failed to prove right. They act as if they have seen some secret flaw when they talk about his chin, when everyone knows his chin is dodgy. But no matter who he beats next that will simply delay the "I told you so, look at my amazing knowledge" crap that will come out when he gets stopped. If he beat Peter and Valuev and then lost to Wlad, he would be called a bum and said to have achieved nothing and it is pretty lame.
I admit I was a Haye hater but he was such an ******* stalking Wlad at a charity event with cameras an ****. He looked like a 2 bit punk. No respect whatsoever. However he was much more believable & respectful with Vitali you notice, I wonder why? :yep He even spoke of Wladimir in a positive light.
Let me add that Haye isn't a bum, he's done quite well for himself at Cruiser & at Heavy to a lesser extent.
To me this fight, Wlad vs Haye, is a bit like Kessler vs Dawson. I cannot disagree with anything anybody would say about kessler getting outboxed by Dawson, nor can I really mount an argument as to why Wladimir would not beat up Haye from the outside. As these are the most likley outcomes. I just feel that for both of these fights, and particularly Wlad vs Haye, that Wladimir will get caught by something at some point due to Haye's speed and would be hurt enough to get finished. I don't think its the most likley outcome, just more of a gut feeling if you get what I mean...:think
Think about it though, he done that with Wlad to get himself noticed and hey guess what it worked like a treat. He's a clever man. Now after his first real fight at heavy he's being talked about as Wlads opponent next year. You see him in other interviews like the one after the Barrett fight and he's very honest and respectful.
I voted wlad and also peters punches are alot heavier than hayes no doubt about it,, peter just lacks the techniqe to deliver it. If I had to stand still and let wlad, peter or haye take a free shot on me,, I'd pick haye everytime
There's nothing wrong with being confident in your abilities but he should give credit where credit is due. His mouth just might be writing a check his ass can't cash if you know what I mean.
Me too, although I'd prefer to not get hit by any of them. Just imagine what an open fist from any of these guys would do to you :!:
VERY solid point. I couldn't agree more. WK's punches are so straight, which is where true power comes from. Haye hits hard, but its primarily hooks. When he gets wild, they get very wide too. That takes away a lot. Peter is just like cave man. The guy is thick and hits accordingly.
OK, but who quite on his stool totally shot and decimated without controversy? I'd like to see rematch.:deal You OK with that?
