And most importantly, far more courage - Tank is a cowardly punk who refuses to take the biggest challenges on a level playing field. Always has, always will.

Tank's got power but I do remember him going 12 with a one legged, chinny Yuriorkis Gamboa. And he landed plenty on him.

i dont think tank hits as hard as most are implying. i see more of a guy who can catch you with shots you dont see coming. yes he has power, but not the kind of power that hurts you every time he lands. plenty of fighters have taken his flush shots before, its just specific times and instances where the guys crumble. duran hurt guys twice tanks size.

Plus Tank is a slow starter, Duran would be dominating him early and getting damaging shots in too.

Yep exactly. And we already know where Tank learned that from. I mean don’t get me wrong, that stuff comes naturally for ‘tank’ but he’s been advised to do that crap too.

Pretty much this, but if they went to war Duran would be the one standing.

Er I kinda agree with this but we will lose the argument every time, when someone mentions ‘no mas’

Absolutely. Tank has power and skills but, as they like to say on this site, their are levels to boxing and Tank isn't quite at Duran's level.

Agreed but as much as I don’t like tank he is hard to like really with his behaviour outside the ring, I still think he’s underrated with his boxing ability, his knockout punch power is all people see, they ignore the footwork and the lateral movement, there’s not many better active fighters who close down the ring better than him, I can only think of bivol really and he gets massive credit for it.
But ye not in the same league as Duran, peer to peer competition will always help athletes push themselves further and bring the best out of them, Duran had that.
Again don’t get me wrong iam not defending tank at all

Watched a documentary on Duran this morning showed the Duran-Buchanan fight & that damn ref Johnny LoBianco. Showed the end of the 13th round in slow motion You heard the bell to end it then see Duran throw that blatantly low blow after the bell. They showed LoBianco getting asked to describe what happened He STILL claimed the punch was just before the bell & was also a clean punch not low at all LOL!! Man it was obvious late & low.Lo Bianco watched it again & still stood by his claim it was a legitimate KO & hinted Buchanan was faking it. The showed Ken's interview in hospital he said "Sure I was in agony all night my crown jewels iced up faking. It showed Ken again long after & he laughed & said " Just to hear the name Roberto Duran makes my balls hurt all over again"

Duran always claims that he NEVER actually said "No Mas" he turned his back on Leonard & said " That it Ive had enough its over" Shame Duran would never give Ken a rematch to clear up the contraversary. Lo Bianco should have been fired lol

Yeah I have seen that in his documentary but he still didn’t want to continue, it’s odd more than a lack of courage as he clearly had the stones to keep going, but it is enough to win the argument.

    ???

Duran said No Mas to a Top 5 fighter EVER after beating him clearly. Any version of Duran beats any version of Tank. And ANY version of Duran hurts/stops any fighter Tank beat quicker and more decisively.

Duran was better at EVERYTHING over Tank. Tank wouldnt even fight Loma, Haney, Teo, or Shakur and needed a catchweight and rehydration clause for RyGa. Pathetic

Agree but the fact is he retired mid fight, that is enough to win the argument in this context, unfortunately. But you are right
