Amir Khan defiantly. His problem is that he tries to exchange to punch and gets wild which leads to him getting caught. He tries to be an action fighter instead of an in and out fighter
Khan has a far better grasp of the fundamentals,he just sometimes has difficulty implementing them,e.g footwork. Add to that he often forgets that getting involved with big punchers isn't the smartest idea when your chin is suspect,to say the least. I'd say when it comes to ring stupidity, they're not too far apart though.
Khan by a long shot. Once he gets hit though, he loses all semblance of ring IQ. Chavez is just borderline mentally ******ed, and that has nothing to do with ring IQ or anything else. The dude is just seriously stupid all the way around.
Khan can't adjust, he seems to be able to implement (one) gameplan well enough but that's it If he didn't have his athleticism (speed) he wouldn't have much else
I would have to say Amir has more ring iq, but Jr. is tougher. Khan would be a beast if he had Jr.'s chin; and settled down with his movement a bit.
