I have been meaning to ask this question for a good while and its a hard question. Both fighters are brilliant pure boxers that can score knockouts with one right hand. Tough one to call. What do you think?

The reason why i am leaning towards Hearns as well is because he has knocked out fighters with grandite chins with a single shot, such as Duran and Cuevas.

Wladimir landed his bombs on Peter for 12 rounds but after i seen Mcline (of all people) floor Peter, it kinda raised eyebrows about Peters chin.

I am going to say Hearns because he knocked out my favorite fighter like no one ever has - Roberto Duran. Hearns was downright scary that night.

Hearns did more of 1 punch knockouts, if memory serves.

Check out Hearns vs. Cuevas on cyberboxing.com. Cuevas at the time was thought to be indestructable, but Hearns almost killed him. Definitely Hearns.

17 votes for Tommy, 0 for Wlad. Maybe your bias for Wlad needs a little re-thinking, as this was not even close.

Hearns right was probably the most fantastic punch I've ever seen. He had a great jab as well. Klitschko doesn't come close really. I would say Johansson's "Hammer of Thor" is a better comparison pound for pound.

That only makes it more incredible that Hagler was able to shake it off. Truly a chilling moment when Hagler found out that he could take Hearn's right, and then just went after him.

I don't think Hagler took quite the full leverage 100% shot poor Roberto did. The punch is absolutely clinical and perfectly flush. Hearns can't fire a better shot IMO.
