I read a rumour that actually Canelo / his team wanted this fight to be at 152 and not at 154 as Floyd wanted.

what do u think guys and if u have some official sources about this subject, please post it ! I mean Floyd or his team said that he wanted to fight with Canelo at 154 or something like that ?! :think

Id say its just a rumour... Icant see any reason why canelo would want to give away some of the only significant advantage he has over floyd (size) by holding the fight at 152

    Go to ESPN.com

There is an article in Spanish that says PBF actually wanted a 150 catchweight and they ended up settling on 152.

It's all been here say at this point. I haven't seen anything offical on who wanted what. From what I've read Floyd wanted 147', then canelo offerd 152'. Canelo came in at 153' Against trout so 152' is feasible.

Well, if it will benefit him, Floyd would gladly give a concession.

I'm sure he knows he's the A-side and the one who should be making the demands, but any opponent can ask nicely.

Can I come in at a lower weight that my body will find harder to boil into?

Can I just surrender nearly all the percentage of my earning?

I heard Canelo really wanted the fight at 149 lbs but Floyd insisted on 154.

his belts ; his status at jr MW / ranking

If he loses against Floyd, he'll still keep his jr MW WBC and WBA belts and his rank at his division . :think
