Not Fury, he failed a PED test taken around the time of the fight and doesn't hold a belt - he has no claim whatsoever.

Not Wilder, Parker and Joshua arguably already have better wins on their resumes despite having a title for way less time - Wilder hasn't even fought his mandatory yet!

Not Parker, while he actually earned two mandatory positions and fought and won the title for one, and defeating his mandatory legitimizes him as a current titleholder - he just owns a single organisation's belt and has only beaten people around the fringe of the top ten to do so.

Joshua beating Klitschko AFTER already defending his title and gaining more belts, doing so without failing any tests, and now fighting Kubret Pulev basically has him being the man to beat to be the man.

Unless Tyson Fury returns or confirms a return, it's AJ. Only an idiot would vote Wilder (Can see for yourself LOL)

On accomplishment in the ring you would have to pick Fury. This undisciplined lunatic did beat "the man" first, before Joshua did

But his unstable mentality, and crash and burn drug use since then would cause the lineal championship to be passed on to The most impressive fighter of the entire division; Joshua

    Anthony Joshua.

While Tyson Fury was the legitimate undisputed champion back when he beat Wlad, he has since been inactive for almost 2 years and he has been suspended from boxing and all of his titles were vacated, therefore he is no more the champion.

Without Fury in the mix, Anthony Joshua and Wladimir Klitschko were the two best heavyweights on the planet and they fought, and Joshua won, unifying IBF and WBA titles. He is yet to gain the "undisputed" status that Klitschko had back in his day, but AJ is the legitimate heavyweight champion of the world.

Wilder and Parker are just alphabet titleholders like Ibragimov/Chagaev/etc were back in the day.

This. When a champ "retires" the number 1 and 2 contenders fight to establish a new lineage. At this point, barring a highly unlikely return by Fury, Joshua has earned the right to call himself the heavyweight champion.

Whoever beats Joshua & Wilder (assuming Fury stays retired)

You can't be the world heavyweight champion, unless you beat the top Undefeated Heavyweights. The poll should be more balanced for sake of educating the peasants, so the vote went to Wilder

Joshua, but if Fury had stayed in shape and not gone insane, he would be considered the best. If he were in tip top shape he would beat Joshua, but I have to consider Fury retired, he will never fight again................so since Fury is retired, Joshua is the best at this time. There are some good fighters coming up, so they will be there for Joshua to fight eventually. Sirenko is looking good for example..............

    Joshua, unquestionably.

He beat a better version of Wlad than Fury did, and he did it in emphatic fashion. Joshua is taking on credible fighters like Pulev, and he's doing it with fire and brimstone.

Fury's gone, done, stick a fork in him. IF he ever comes back he's going to totally suck because of ring rust. He's flushed his career down the toilet. Beating Wlad was the worst thing to ever happen in his life; without a worthy goal he imploded mentally. He needs rehab, running shoes and a shrink asap.

Parker is a credible heavyweight. His wins over Hughie and Takam are good, but he's never really exhibited the class that makes me think he's going to clean up the other champions.

Wilder we all know about. Bum-cleaver supreme, and the King of the Alleys. Managed to beat the legendary Zelenoff  OK. Sarcasm aside, he's won everything and has legit power. His acid test vs Ortiz is coming up. Let's see how he handles it. If he passes with flying colours, the guy that we have made fun of up until now might just be a serious force in the upper echelons.

Povetkin: Nobody's talked about him, so I will. He's been around since forever and has a great resume. A single loss to a younger Wlad than AJ beat. His skills are the best out of all these guys, all he lacks is size. There are the two ped question marks over his head. I'll note that he's on VADA now and that the peds were not the "hard stuff" like actual steroids, but fringe substances that may not even enhance performance. He needs to get himself lined up for a shot again. He's got a serious chance of cleaning out Wilder, Parker and a reasonable chance of beating AJ although Joshua has to be the favourite there based on recent form.

Any claim Fury had to the title has long since gone. He's inactive, ran from the rematch, has drug allegations hanging over him and is showing no signs of a return. He's as good as retired. His win over Wlad was a negative, dull and unconvincing affair that could have gone either way.

AJ has the strongest claim to the title by far. Not only did he beat Wlad in emphatic fashion, he has knocked out 4 top 10 heavyweights, with a 5th scheduled.
