Do you think Anthony Joshua is physically stronger and hits harder than prime Mike Tyson?

    Prime Tyson?

No, Joshua does not have more power than that animal.

Tyson because he has the handspeed and combinations as well as raw power. You didn't see the punch coming that got you.

All respect to Joshua, though, who can hit.

It’s not only power and strength. It’s also having the skill with which to effectively deliver that power.

    and Tyson exceeds Joshua

In terms of boxing, Tyson, Joshua is better at lifting weights.

Well, lifting weights and having a six pack doesn't help you with punching technique. I got Mike in this one.

In terms of strength it's hard to say. Joshua isn't a particularly physical guy in clinches.

Power-wise it's Mike all the way.

That's kind of two different question. In terms of physical strength my guess is Joshua, being some 30 lbs heavier, but hard to say since neither is/was overly physical. For power probably Tyson.

Yeah cause Tyson is such a strong dude, oh well i forget he was backed up and manhandled with easy By almost 40 year old shade of Larry Holmes, who is 191cm and weighted 102kg. Should i even mention Holyfield or Douglas ?
I know people on here loves to overrate the old time greats, but Tyson for sure is one of the most overrated dudes.
And all the excuses how he wasn't in his prime when he lost, and all this stuffs ....

Holmes got his jab going for a few rounds but was brutally ktfo by one punch. Joshua of 16-17 maybe stops old Holmes but not as quick and not one shot.

Bro Holmes was old as ****. He was scared to throw a punch. He barely threw any punches at all. And he still managed to get to the 4th round.
Sorry while i liked Tyson for his KO power, and his explosiveness, in my eyes he is just one dimensional. Knowing just how to go forward.
You don't even need to be dirty with him, just clinch him when he comes inside and that's it. He never learn how to deal with that.

And Joshua is twice as big as Tyson, and he would outweigh Holmes by close to 30 pounds.
He may very well stream roll that scared version of Holmes in 1 round, as Holmes clinches wouldn't help against AJ.

Whyte and Klitschko tried to clinch against AJ when he was on a go, and they failed. Same for Pulev. Same for Kevin Johnson who had an iron chin, and Joshua wipes the floor with him.
And they are all bigger than Holmes. And just for clarification i'm not saying this guy are on Holmes level i'm comparing the clinching aspect, and how AJ deal with it with ease.
And this was old and washed Holmes who was scared to throw a punch.
    Here is the full video.

Dude, WK was two years older than Holmes in 17 and battered Joshua within an inch, on another night he gets knocked out way before he landed that 11th round uppercut. You're now disparaging Holmes vs Tyson whereas you opened with he manhandled Tyson with ease. Make your mind up lad. He wasn't totally washed at all, fought on for another 16 years and nobody else knocked him cold. He has one career KO Loss, Tyson. Ask Holyfield, McCall and Mercer if he was washed.
