Itauma had an unbeaten amateur career, turning professional with a record of 24 wins with 11 wins by knockout. He claimed gold medals in Schools, Juniors, Youth European and the Heavyweight Youth World Gold Medal. Fisher has no amateur experience, he`s a complete novice and nowhere near as slick as Moses who blew away a guy that Hrg laboured against, Fisher hasn`t been in at that level, he`s just a pub fighter with no stamina.

I agree Fisher is a weak gatekeeper/good journeyman at best that has no stamina. However, Itauma has not even proven he has any stamina either - hes never been past 6 rounds against anyone live.

My point is that this is normal, everyone gasses up a prospect when they have not proved anything especially when they have fought weak opposition. We'll learn a lot more about Itauma as he gradually steps up in opposition and it will be very interesting to see what he is made of.

How do you feel Moses compares to Hrg?

Ok so he will be 22 when Usyk hits 40. That's insanely young. Mike Tyson was young but had some amateur experience. Does Moses have any amateur fights?

Hrgovic - I think there is a good fighter in him with a solid amateur pedigree. I thought he did well against Dubois and was unlucky to get cut as he was winning a few rounds at the start. He also has beaten Zhang if perhaps somewhat controversial. With Hrgovic compared with Itauma, we've just seen more of Hrgovic against much much better opposition than we have with Itauma.

I believe Itauma can be a world champion, but I also feel he needs to be slowly brought through the ranks and fight the likes of Adeleye, Allen, etc.

Boxrec lists him as having 20 amateur fights with 10 ko's. Boxrec mostly don't have complete amateur records but it's not a lot of fights at amateur level.

Well he's barely 20. 20 fights sounds about right. Guys like Loma fought 300+ times but went pro late 20's as a result.

Same with Mike Tyson. Some amateur fights, overwhelming the competition.

Tyson showed brilliant moves in amateur fights but wasn`t selected for the 1984 olympics, they chose Tyrell Biggs instead.

My point was both Moses and Tyson had relatively short amateur careers and went pro very young. As opposed to the Lomas and Beterbievs who fought hundreds of ams and went pro late.

The usual suspects are on their knees praying every night Usyk takes a loss before he rides off into the sunset.
