Outbox him?:rofl:rofl The only guy on that list who even has a remote chance of outboxing him would be JMM.
Guys that could beat him at 154: Paul Williams, possibly Kirkland (Definitely not because of skills though), Vernon Forrest, and MAYBE, and a BIG MAYBE to Corey Spinks. Guys that could beat him at 147: Mosley Guys that could beat him at 140: Pac who I feel would be a great fight considering he's just as fast as Mayweather, throws in combination, moves great, and is a southpaw fighter. I'd say Pac has a great chance to beat him, but it's hard to put him above Mosley out of the fighters that you mentioned.
Paul Williams is the wild card here. With his freakish size and dimensions he could give any fighter problems. Out of those mentioned I'd say Cotto has the best chance. I think some peeople are delluding themselves thinking Shane could pull it off. With his wide shots and open defensive mistakes, Floyd would outbox him easily. Cotto on the other hand is still quick and youthful and posseses a key ingredient, a good jab. That in itself would give Cotto a decent shot at pulling off the upset. Although in all honesty I'd favor Floyd heavily over all comers.
The answer is Mosley. Pacquiao 2nd choice. I don't believe either Cotto or Marquez would have much of a chance. Paul Williams would though.
All of them have a good change at beating him.But the question should be WHO will he fight? if he comes back...
None of those guys, they're all missing something when it comes to beating Floyd ... it takes more than just physicality to beat him ... you also have to be a smart fighter ... well conditioned ... and a good boxer ... Pacquiao isn't a good enough boxer ... neither is Hatton (he proved that against PBF) ... or Shane ... Shane is fast but he can't box good, he's stiff, and he gets hit alot ... Marquez is too little and too stiff ... this doesn't make too much sense ...
Its got to be Sugar Shane. Pac on the other hand is the biggest fight. Floyd Sr. said PBF could come back if Pac wins against Hatton
I think Floyd would beat the **** out of Spinks. I wouldn't give Spinks a legit chance at all against Floyd. The other 3 all have a good shot at beating Floyd IMO. That's definately a fight I want to see. I wouldn't give Pac much of a shot against a peak Mayweather. However, Floyd hasn't fought in over a year. If he fought Pac after about a 2 year layoff, things are a bit different.
