i agree that PW has the best chance, but we'll never get to see that one unfortunately. shane and cotto both have a pretty good chance, maaaybe pac, but if you think marquez "down 3 times in the first round" marquez has a better chance at mayweather, you're crazy. imo floyd knocks him out indefinitely.

PBF has the best straight right hand in boxing very accuarte and sneaky and can land it almost at will.:deal Without a doubt he would catch Cotto with it coming in and stun and hurt him often with it. Cotto's chin isn't steel he has been rocked, hurt and dropped by lesser fighters. PBF would catch Cotto with something he didn't see and possibly stop him.

Mosley and Pacman a close second. Cotto will get caught by a counter and put away at some point.

Wobbled by Corley? The same Corely who had Cotto on ***** street?:rofl:lol::rofl Doesn't have a good chin? Ah maybe the fact that he's never been badly hurt, knocked down or stopped in a fight. He takes a good shot and has fought some big punchers nothing in his history suggest that his chin is anything but solid. PBF's toughness is the most underrated thing about him.:deal

None, but you did say chance. Mosley for the first four to five rounds before he gets picked apart.

Stop it Pimp...you know that's not an indication of a good chin.

PBF is a GREAT defensive fighter...DEFENSIVE...he won't get hit alot. When have you ever seen Floyd hit flush or CLEAN!...That's why he's hardly been hurt. But the times he has, he was buzzed or wobbled. Judah did it. Corley did it. And both Hatton and Baldomir had him on the run...both of which are **** fighers at 147.

You honestly believe PBF can keep Cotto at bay with his "best right hand in the game" :rofl...stop it. Seriously. Nothing he did @ 147 suggests that he has power or chin.

Sure Cotto was on "***** st." against Corley, but we're not arguing about Cotto's chin are we? No...we're not. We all know Cotto doesnt have the best chin. But his chin is far more proven because we've seen what he can deal with and what he can't. And using his severely weight drained days at 140 is a weak argument. Don't bring that **** up.

He would have to box the PERFECT night to win a SD or close UD, or change his gameplan drastically to throw Cotto off his game.

His 147 days are greatly boosted because of his prior work at lower weight classes. Nothing...and I mean nothing @ 147 shows he can hang with the big dogs. **** I think even Clottey, Quintana and Berto can give Floyd fits at WW.

I would say paul Willims at 154 or 160 has the best chance, but to answer the question with the choices given. Droping down in weight is a disatvantage so Pacquiao at 140 and Marquez at 140 have a certain advantage over Mayweather. I don't see Cotto at 147 beating him. If Mosley at 147 can box as well as he when he defeted Margrito I think despite 147 being a better weight right now for Mayweather. Mosley at 147 has the best chance.

If taking shots and never going down or being badly hurt isn't an indication of a good chin then what is?:deal You can't say that. PBF has shown a better chin than Cotto has that's for damn sure.

Also you say hatton and Baldo had him on the run PBF beat Hatton at his own game and stopped him. While PBF hurt his hand early in the fight gave Baldo a boxing lesson. Not to mention PBF was never going to hurt a steel chin guy like Baldo anyway who took shots form Forrest at 154 and didn't blink.

Yes I believe PBF can keep Cotto at bay with an accurate straight right hand that Cotto wouldn't see or couldn't do anything about that lands repeately on the button he can also counter with it. You act as if Cotto has a McCall chin or something.:-( And PBF isn't a feather-fisted he can hurt you.

PBF doesn't have to fight a perfect fight to beat Cotto. He's not the second coming of Pea Whiataker. He can be outboxed, he fights dumb not clinching when hurt to buy time or to break up rhythm, retreats to the ropes without adequate offense or defense. You have it wrong it would be Cotto that would have to fight a perfect fight to beat PBF who hasn't shown the same limitations that Cotto has.

I don't even know why you're arguing with Varg. His posts in this thread don't seem consistent with reality.
