is ali growing by the decade lol, vitali almost beat a fat out of shape lewis when vitali was having his best day and still lost
Vitali fought a worse version of Lewis than the one that fought The Rock and still lost half of his face. Be ****ing real people! Ali is the man who would beat Lewis. If there is one heavyweight to go for it's Ali.
Ali is north of 6'3, 80" reach. Point is hes not a small HW..Hed be great fighting at 225, his speed would still be heads and shoulders above any other Heavies. I find it hard to believe that Lennox would be able to connect that telegraphed right hand on prime Ali. Alis power is underrated as well so its not far fetched to say he wont be able to tip Lennox
IMO Sonny Liston has some of the perfect attributes to do the job. Imagine a much more talented Ray Mercer...
because some have listed him as 6'4 BFD!!! 1 inch, he beats Lewis even if he was 6'0. Lewis got koed cold by guys barely above clubfighters in his prime!! Now you can make excuses and take solace that he avenged them and he took them lightly. BS!! But if ragman and ****** mcCall can knock him silly, whats stopping me from thinking Holmes, Prime George, Norton, Prime Tyson and Evander would not have done the same
The same thing that should stop you from thinking that Archie Moore would lose to all LHW greats because he lost to Leonard "Who?" Morrow, or that Armstrong losses to all LW greats because he was beaten by Abad - good sense. The losses shoud count against him. They reveal weaknesses in punch resistance and focus. But don't take that left in to Bizzaro Zakman world. They're not valid reasons to pick over him in every fantasy match going.
you can make anybody look bad if you want, look at tyson never fought beat a great fighter in their prime lost to all the best prime fighters he fought, got beaten by some terrible fighters, prime lasted about 1 year.
Im just answering the thread and merely pointing out precedence for him (LL losing) possible. But weird though, Ali never lost to any of these no name guys in his prime, that speaks volumes right there. Its not like he wasnt put through stiff competition. The man, although sometimes overrated was the greatest HW ever.
