    Given that Fury is retired.

I go for Artur Beterbiev from two months ago, after Beterbiev beat down Joe Smith Jr and hypothetical threads such as Beterbiev beats Marciano/Dempsey/Larry Holmes/Liston were popping up. Beterbiev has already beaten Usyk once in the amateurs, and he broke Usyk's fellow Ukrainian countryman Gvozdyk also... he could do it again.

Who yall think has the best chance of beating the current Heavyweight king Oleksandr Usyk today?

From a boxing point of view I don't think anyone can do it. So, I am going to go with power and say that Wilder, if he catches Usyk will knock him out. That is a big if, of course.

Makhman (on power) or Sanchez (on skill)

that said, as much as I love usyk, he's definitely not close to unbeatable at HW

Don’t the smaller, skilful HWs out there just do everything Usyk does but worse?

He has already said that will either fight fury or retire.
So if fury doesn’t beat him he will retire undefeated

    1. Fury 49% - allarounder
    2. Sanchez 39% - skill
    3. Jalolov 35% - jab
    4. Kossobutskiy 30% - body shots
    5. AJ 15% - just AJ

Jalolov will be tough for Usyk

Sanchez is an even bigger threat. I think he has a good chance of upsetting Usyk.

I dont get all this Frank Sanchez love. I think he is average at best he looked ok against Ajagba but pretty poor against Hammer.
Lets be honest here he has zero chance against Usyk or Fury, I think AJ beats him Joyce beats him and Wilder gets outboxed by him bit probably KO's him. I even think Bakole beats him at this point.
He may pick up a belt in about 3 years but by then he will be 33-34.
Jared Anderson and Dubois are the next big players in the HW division when Fury Usyk and Wilder are retired.

Given that Usyk said that it was Fury or nothing, it doesn't really give many other options.

Right now, i don't think there is many others that have much of a chance - unless Usyk declines significantly in the next 2 years.

Whilst I rate Joe Joyce, he is just too slow to beat Usyk IMO.
Wilder has the threat of a hail mary righthand, but hard to see how he catches Usyk with a clean shot.

But all moot if Usyk simply vacates and retires if Fury doesn't come back.

And let's face it I wouldn't blame him - Undisputed vs Fury for all the marbles and legacy is the ONLY real challenge left to motivate him

Naoya Inoue if they can meet at a catchweight of 200 pounds w/ a 20 pound rehydration clause for Usyk. Inoue will come in at 130.
