i like clottey, but come on

he lost all his major fights...ALL of them

in fact, he should have never gotten the chance to fight pac in all honestly

oh, and the muscle comment...so? he has like 3 KO in the last 6 or 7 years...not exactly a power puncher

All he's beaten this year is Allan Green. If Kessler was also this year, he would have been in the equation.

if pacquiao and mayweather end up fighting then the winner of that fight wins fighter of the year.

    mayweather--beat mosley-pacquiao= FOTY
    Pacquaio beat clottey-mayweather= FOTY

If those fights doesn't happen then i'm leaning towards juan manuel lopez.
if lopez beat rafael marquez then chris john before the year end then he should win it.

beating concepcion-marquez-john would be a good year for lopez.

If Pac/May is a go then the winner is a lock.

  10. it was such horse**** that Pacquiao, mr afraid of needles was named fighter of the decade, so I would not be shocked if they again show him favoritism.

we still have six months left in the year so a lot of boxing left plus you never know what fights get made. But nobody that fights just one time in the year should get consideration and even two fights a year is too little unless they are two big fights against top competition.

IMO Pacquiao and Mayweather shouldn't not be considered as fighter of this year because they've only fought once this year. If they fight each other and they fight excitingly then they can be considered as candidates.

Andre Ward could be a good shout if he beats Dirrell. 2 Solid wins.
