I agree...Hopkin's is a much better technician than Taylor. That being said though, Taylor is still in his prime, faster and is quicker than Hopkins. I don't know if B-Hop can maintain a lot of movement without gasing out later on in the fight. The one thing I know for sure is that Hopkins will dominate the first three or so rounds. It definitely works in Bernard's favor that the fight is only a 10 rounder. If I was Pavlik's camp, I would have insisted on 12. If it wasn't for the championship rounds in the Taylor rematch, Pavlik would've lost that fight IMO.

BHop has no gas left in his tank. He almost drowned in the "deep waters" he speaks so darkly about bringing people into.

yeah, exactly. This should be a no-brainer. Though I don't count Hopkins out of any fight, no matter how old. He's got more ring experience in his jock than Pavlik has in his whole body.

Are you sure about the 10 rounds? Box Rec has it listed as a 12 round fight. Max Boxing does not list a number of rounds. ESB still only has it under "rumored fights." Is the 10 rounds confirmed, or still just a rumor?

Yeah, but Taylor throws his share amount of punches and he's got faster hands, good power, and can put together combinations. Hopkins doesn't have any of that. Hopkins is going to do his sneaky right hand ATTACK (if you want to call it that) with about 10-15 punches per round.

Pavlik is going to outpoint him, if anything, based on sheer activity just like JT and Calzaghe were able to do. They didn't look good doing it but their activity got them rounds.

I love Hopkins but i see a Pavlik UD. It will be close and ugly and Hopkins will be more effective but it won't be enough.

I Voted Peter (Based on Klits Inactivity)
But do give Bernard more than a chance to beat Pavlik.
    (Hopkins will defeat Kelly)

Peter. Vitali hasn't fought in four years, had multiple surgeries and couldn't even make it outta training camp. I feel his knee fails him once again.

I'd hate to see Hopkins lose to Pavlik but he shouldn't of taken this fight. Don't wanna see my favorite fighters beat into retirement. Hopefully SSM doesn't get beat into retirement.

I'm with you on this one. Peter has a solid chin and Vit Klit cuts as we all know. I think Vit wins a boxing match, obviously, but Peter wins a brawl...
