Who has the best chin among active fighters?

Honorable mention Floyd, Hopkins, Toney. Tua too but he's been rocked by body shots (Rahman/Barrett)

 

Margarito took about 200 shots like that from Mosley and eventually went down. Countless fighters have taken shots like that and walked through. The few times Floyd's been hit clean he's been rocked more time than not. That's the difference.

Floyd has been "hurt" maybe 3-5 times in his career. Twice against Mosley in round 2, the should-have-been KD against Judah, and, well, that's all I can think of.

Against Corley, he gets drilled by a big shot and covers up fine without being unstable at all. I wouldn't call that being hurt. I would call that eating a flush shot and reacting perfectly.

Applaud the efforts of Cotto, Castillo, and Maidana, but they certainly never hurt Mayweather at any point either.

Please name me other occasions that show Floyd doesn't have a great jaw.

 

Having a Chin is THE most important attribute to have. Your Chin is the second line of defense. Glass Jawed fighters can only have success in Boxing with careful and strategic matchmaking. When you see a coddled fighter 99% of the time they are harboring a Glass Jaw. Chins matter. A lot.

 

Idiot I previously said his defence is too good to get flush. Answer this, could Floyd take as many clean shots that rios or margarito do? If you say yes you're an even bigger *** than I thought.

 

I have no real reason to think he couldn't.

He has been hit with many moderate to big shots and doesn't flinch.

Saying that he clearly couldn't take the shots delivered from the guys Rios or Margarito have fought like Cotto, Alvarado, Acosta, or Cintron would be absolute speculation with wishful thinking.

 

No actually the evidence is clear. The first real shot he took from Mosley he was rocked, he couldn't take over 100 like margarito did. You're such a dickrider.

Are you trying to say that Floyd doesn't have a great jaw because if he let 2009 Mosley tee off on him for 12 rounds that he would get KO'd and that other WW's would not get KO'd by that?

Because if you can't name me one, then you are complementing Mosley's power as opposed to minimizing anyone's punch resistance. I'm not sure if you realize that you are doing this... Anyway.
