Beating a prime Froch is a better win than a past his best Hopkins.

 

:think nah. Even though Hopkins was much more faded, he still competed well enough to make rounds close, suggesting a good portion of his ATG abilities were still intact. The gap isn't huge, but beating Hopkins in a way he hadn't been beaten in over a decade is more impressive IMO.

 

Hopkins defensive abilitys are intact.

His offensive ones are long gone.

BHOP is an ATG. A lock for the top 20 GOAT MWs and SMWs.

Johnson and Tarver are both first ballot HOFers, and Adamek is a top 10 ATG CW.
But, Froch and Kessler are both locks for the HOF, and Abe is a lock at MW as well.:think
