Sorry but I didn't buy that for one minute. Not for a nickel or a dime. AJ was the same AJ he always was, its only the revisionists who claimed this was the best AJ.. the same revisionists now claiming he was always rubbish. AJ is competitive with most heavyweights, most nights. For me, Usyk 2, he was a terror, best I'd seen. But Dan was always wrong for him. I'm surprised Frank didn't try to match them earler because this 'upset' has been on the cards for years

Terence Crawford (as a southpaw, not his orthodox jab)

I would rather be equipped with his jab than anyone else's.............(of current active fighters)

As a huge Zhang fan I don't disagree that he is overhyped, but Dubois style has never been to stay on his bike and box smart. Even against massive puncher AJ (who arguably punches harder than Zhang, definitely an argument to be made) he went straight at him throwing massive overhands. It might have worked against AJ but that kind of boxing will play right into Zhang's hands. I see Zhang dropping Dubois with a counter early, but Dubois could definitely survive and take over in the later rounds.

Exactly what I was thinking re: his southpaw jab.

People need to take it easy saying Dubois...within the last few years the guy has been DOMINATED in a jabbing war and got JTFO, two times. He doesn't have a top 10 jab. Smashing AJ's face with a jab doesn't make you an ATG jabber.

Fury and Usyk both have great jabs, both extremely versatile. You don't see other fighters develop the jab as much as HW's sometimes because it's such an important weapon that high up.

Bivol and Beterbiev have great and very different jabs. Artur has the timing perfect on his shotgun jab, Bivol uses his like a lance from range.

    Janibek has an incredible jab.

    Crawford jabs well...

The more I make this list I realize it's just the best fighters in the game have the best jabs.

I honestly think this is the answer. Ennis jab from the Southpaw and Orthodox stance is more lethal than the best "natural" orthodox and south paw boxers out there.

I thought about saying Boots, but his jab hasn't been proven at the highest level yet. I think eventually it will be

Dubious has a great jab, lol.
    This planet.
He KO's AJ now he's a master boxer. We never heard about his amazing jab before.
He already lost two jab battles at HW.
Having said that, Dubious has the best HW defence because AJ didn't KO him.

The best jab all in all is probably Fury's, even if just because physically it is the longest top jab. That means he has the jab advantage in any jab contest or at least breaks even unless the opponent's jab is far superior, which is unlikely. He can also throw a power jab, seen in the Wilder fights. He can also jab with his RH from the other stance.
It's not the most destructive jab maybe, but that's also because he doesn't use it like that. For scoring punches I think it's hard to beat.

I've always felt Fury's jab is deceptively hard. See Wlad's face at the end of their fight for reference.
