I always thought pre Steward Wlad's left hook off the jab was one of the best punches in heavyweight history. For such a big guy not only was it fast and powerful but he could double and treble it up.

Can we count Razor Ruddock's upper-hook? I liked that, did for Dokes...

The most devastating left hook I ever saw was Morrison's one against 'Razor' Ruddock. So I'm going for him.

Went with Klitschko. Pulev, and Chambers fights were both very impressive. His jab, and straight right are not very accurate anymore, but his left hook is still good.

    Pure power: Tua and Cooney

    Explosive power: Morrison and Tyson

Ability to unload it in the ring: Frazier and Wlad

    Underrated: Povetkin

In terms of who has the most aesthetically pleasing left hook, I go with Frazier, his left hook was a thing of beauty and looks like nobody else's. The delivery, the speed, the variation in distance from a short compact hook on the inside to the wide sweeping hook thrown from the hip was just sublime.

Morrison or Tua's maybe the harder but less pleasing to the eye and it's delivery less effective. Wlad's deserves a special mention how a guy with his dimensions delivers such a compact and powerful left hook is amazing.

Why ? Because he did it once against Ray Austin who was falling into two of the 3 left hooks he threw?

Post up the Wlad left hook highlight reel. Lets have a look at it:meparto:

Of course you did Liqid Fire/Auqamarine.

Amazing how it took him 12 rounds of non stop leaning and holding before he could knock out little Eddie Chambers.

Mike Tyson would have left hooked Chambers out in two rounds. And Wlad in 30 seconds.
