Who has the best offensive arsenal in boxing today?

Cotto probably does. Can fight both in the orthodox and southpaw stance, has power in both hands, can switch in any stance anytime he wants to. In the southpaw stance he has a really good left cross and left uppercut.

 

It's tough to pick out a single fighter as the best, but Cotto would be my choice too.

 

In no order: JMM, Diaz, Pac, Cotto

 

I understand what you are saying, but (in boxing) most people will understand or define ARSENAL as the variety of punches you have and how good you are when you use those punches.....if you are good then you have an arsenal.

Think about a pitcher in baseball...same concept....

 

The MW division is **** right now. At SMW we will all quickly see how mediocre of a fighter he is. He should be able to make some good money and get some kind of a legacy at 160 during the next year or two before he moves up though.

 

I think Marquez.... he is up there. I cannot give you an answer about who the best is, it requires an analysis under different circumstances but if I have to give you an answer right now....then I would say Marquez.

 

And Calzaghe outclassed a phenominal fighter, unified champ in Mikkel Kessler with his diverse offensive arsenal, that lacks Pavlik's ridiculous sloppyness.

I wouldn't even pick Calzaghe as the best offensive monster, but he's a step over Pavlik, this has nothing to do with Pavlik.

Best offensive arsenal goes to Cristian Mijares, he has every combination in the book and uses it behind a stinging, crisp, non-stop jab and beats guys senseless.

I know nothing about nuclear weapons....but I can tell you that you are talking about the same weapon...the only difference is that the 10 Indians nuclear missiles are stronger than the 100 Pakistan has...if you think about it we are talking about the same weapon....is like saying .... whose right hand I prefer...Thomas hearn's or SRL's? Of course I would take Hearn's right hand.....but we are still talking about one weapon.

What if they don't have nuclear weapons? I think you and I will have to check what they have in their arsenal.....tanks, planes, etc etc etc.

I going to go with Cotto. Insane left hook, fierce body puncher and a very underrated jab..He is as close to offensive perfection in the sport today

 

imo Calzaghe didn't outclass KEssler

He beat him, but he didn't outclass him.

Lacy was outclassed.

 

Lacy was maliciously brutalised, in beautiful fashion, otherwise known as the term 'being Lacyed'.

Kessler was outclassed down the stretch by a superior fighter.

Hatton was outclassed and KOed.

Neither is close to the thrashing that Lacy recieved or Arce recently recieved, those guys were beyond outclassed, they were shredded into pieces.
