he was not retied he fought 6 months before the fight ffs and there was no signs of him declining much, no one gave eubank a hiding like joe did, even when he moved up the cruiserweight he never got dominated like that

malinga, greene, abraham, bika, Pazienza, sosa, Lucas, ,Little - of these guys are being mentioned so should his arguably better then most of them

Ward and Jones have the best single wins, against Froch and Toney, respectively.

So lets scrap him from Wards and Froch resume if irrelevant?

I said semi-retired, if you can't type properly you might at the very least read properly. He fought two unranked fighters in exhibition fights overseas. In the first exbibition fight he weighed in as a Cruiserweight while his opponent weighed in at Super Middleweight. The second exhibition fight was at Cruiserweight too because he sure as hell wasn't going to go through serious training camps for two pointless exhibition quality fights. If you honestly consider those two fights serious activity then you're off your rocker.

There's no way in hell a shot to nothingness Eubank is better than Abraham.

I would rate Jones' win over Toney above Ward's win over Froch but Ward has more big wins at the weight which is why I generally rate his resume above.

Sure this is a bait thread.

The best SMW resume is Calzaghe, followed by Eubank, then probably Ottke.

You have to look at the fights and fighters, where the opponents were in their careers etc.

Froch. Whats his best SMW win? A faded version of Kessler, then Bute. Dirrell has not done anything at SMW, Pascal did nothing at SMW, Groves has not done anything at SMW.
To tell you how nothing the G Johnson win was. Sheika beat Johnson at SMW to get a shot at Calzaghe years previous when Johnson was prime.

How can Ward have a better resume than Calzaghe?
    Still nobody can counter this

Calzaghe beat 3 undefeated fighters who had or went on to claim a SMW title.

    1. Someone tell me which top undefeated fighters Ward has beaten?
    2. Tell me which top undefeated world champs Ward has fought?

    Lets read the answers
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------

    This content is protected

    Andre Ward............VS.............Joe Calzaghe
    Froch.....................................Kessler
    This content is protected
    (Kessler beat Froch)
    Kessler...................................Eubank
    This content is protected

Dawson..................................Lacy (Lacy a proven SMW and winner of 5 SMW title fights. Dawson no pedigree at all at SMW)
    This content is protected

Abraham.................................Mitchell (Mitchell a 2 time SMW champ who had never been clearly beaten, only lost by debateable SD in Germany to Ottke, had KOd long time SMW champ Liles, beaten a future SMW champ twice, compared to AA who had done nothing at SMW)
    This content is protected

Bika.......................................Brewer (Bikas best win became Manfredo, Brewer had beaten H Graham and was a SMW champ)
    This content is protected
(Bika was a Calzaghe left over at that time and had been out of the ring bar less than a round for a while)
Green.....................................Woodhall (Woodhall a SMW champ, who had beaten a reigning SMW champ, a world rated former champ, a future SMW champ and Branco a world rated SMW who became WBA LHW champ, who at SMW beat R Reid and G Johnson who when old and shot KOd Green)
    This content is protected

Miranda...................................Bika (Bika now a top 5 SMW had drawn with 3 time SMW champ Beyer)
    This content is protected

    Buchanan (?????)......................Sheika
    This content is protected
(Sheika was coming off a win over G Johnson and was a top 10 SMW at the time)
Camou (?????)..........................Veit (Veit a SMW title holder who had a fair resume, better than at least 2 of the current top 5 SMWs)
    This content is protected
    Then include the
    This content is protected
win and then the other top 10 SMWs and its clear Calzaghe is well ahead. I could have put
    This content is protected
ahead of Green, Camou, Miranda, Buchanon

Very clear but nobody will have a sensible answer to say otherwise, it will just be a lame Faileys losing it answer when they cant debate against

Somebody tell me how Ward has done more than that.

Nobody can counter the above or answer the questions. In fact they hide from the questions

no no I did say largely.

so theres no need to scrap any of the minority handful of good fighters on joes cv, nor any reason in the slightest for you to offer to do so.

Lets look at SMW champs they have beaten

Calzaghe with wins over Eubank, Kessler, Woodhall, Reid, Lacy, Jones, Bika, Veit, Brewer, Mitchell - All held a world SMW title

Ward - Kessler (faded Calzaghe opponent), Froch (beaten by a faded Calzaghe opponent), Bika (faded Calzaghe opponent), Abraham (on a run of 1-2 and only SMW win of note is a debateable win over Steiglitz who stopped him)
Yet somehow, somebody think that goes above Calzaghe. lol

Froch - Kessler (an even further faded version), Bute, Abraham, Magee (who lost to a faded Calzaghe opponent) Yet somehow, somebody think that goes above Calzaghe. lol

Eubank - Benn, Malinga, Rocchigiani, Holmes

Ottke - Mundine, Mitchell, Brewer, Reid,

Kessler has a good SMW resume with Froch, Beyer, Sartison, Magee, Siaca, Thobela

Tell me how does Ward have a better SMW resume than S Collins who holds wins over undefeated Eubank, Eubank again, Benn twice

You have to look at all the wins and not just the champs and with that it is -
Resume wise it is Calzaghe, Eubank, Ottke.

Isn't that funny how long did Collins fight at super middle ? That's been your whole argument against Roy!
