Is this who had the best resume up to 2017? Or are we asking who has the best resume now?

Doesn't the thread title say "at the moment?"

    2018
Wilder fought Luis Ortiz & Tyson Fury
Joshua fought Joseph Parker & Alexander Povetkin

    2019
Wilder fought Dominic Breazeale & Luis Ortiz
    Joshua fought Andy Ruiz twice.

    2020
Wilder fought Tyson Fury & is fighting Tyson Fury again in July.
Joshua is fighting Kubrat Pulev in July.

Perception is more than reality, so Fury by a country mile. He is the one who UNSEATED Wlad, and his win over Wilder is perceived as being better than anything on Joshua's resume. Also, resume's includes a loss, and Josh has one.

Wilder is no longer a member of the big three. At all.

He doesn't even have the 3rd best resume.

Whyte's beaten Chisora, Parker and Rivas, which trumps Wilder's Ortiz, Stiverne, Breazeale.

Hell you could argue Parker's win over Ruiz is better than Wilder's win over Ortiz as Ruiz has a better win than anything on Ortiz's resume.

Chisora is unrated. Parker is rated #7. Rivas is rated #10.

Ortiz is rated #4. Wilder has beaten him twice, as recently as four months ago.

Parker and Ruiz are BOTH rated below Ortiz. So, no, you can't argue that.

I don't even know where to begin with this post. I think you're being serious right? I can't take it seriously though. Are you serious? Nevermind, don't answer.

World Champ - what is that? You can't be world champ until you're undisputed right? Just because 'The Ring' says it, it doesn't make it so. Fury may well be the best but he can't be World Champ until he's gotten all the belts back again.

Anyway it's Joshua then Fury then...

Wilder. Fighting the same fighters over and over again doesn't give you a deep resume. Against the only really good fighter he's faced (Fury, not Ortiz) he really should be 0-2. It will be 0-1-2 come July.

Well if we're going by Ring ratings, Whyte's rated above Wilder right now.

Parker's best win is over Ruiz who's rated 5th and Ortiz's best win is Jennings who isn't even rated.

See how subjective it can be, so yes it can be argued because simply using current ratings as a way of quantifying it is limited and flawed.

The thing which edges it towards Fury for me is that both his biggest wins have come in the opponents back yard. He bested Wlad so convincingly that he got the points win in Germany, any ambiguity and the dreaded 'got to take it from the champ' nonsense would've come in to play.

Likewise in the two fights against Wilder. He had to win the first to get a draw on the cards and in the second he changed his style and took more risks in order to take the fight out of the hands of the judges and Al Haymon for that matter.

Just as Joshua took more risks than Wilder, so has Fury at critical points in his career taken the riskier harder option. Although AJ's got more depth in his resume, Fury's two signature wins are enough to tip the balance.

Ha Ha HA HA HA HA HA ha ha ha LOL LOL LOL ha ha HA HA HA HA HA

    Jesus Christ.

When you are fighting the World Champion THREE times and the #4 contender TWO TIMES in six fights .... it MOST CERTAINLY DOES give you a deep resume.

You're seriously bashing Wilder now for fighting the WORLD CHAMPION three times and the #4 contender twice?

    Unbelievable.

He's not fighting the unranked Chisora three times and the unranked Pulev twice. He's fighting the WORLD CHAMPION and the #4 RATED contender in five of his last six.

Are you telling me if Anthony Joshua fought Tyson Fury THREE TIMES and Luis Ortiz twice in his last six, and Wilder lost to Andy Ruiz and beat Parker and Povetkin and was fighting Pulev ... that THEN you'd consider Wilder had the stronger resume?

You're just a liar. I'd say you were biased, but you're just flat out lying.

Povetkin has zero wins over anyone in the top 10.

I'm not going to do this again this week.

I'll be back in July. When Wilder is fighting Fury for the SECOND TIME in 2020 and Joshua is getting around to fighting for the first time against the unrated Pulev.

Who is Povetkin fighting next? Is he fighting in 2020? It's March. Zero fighs lined up.

Logan Paul will certainly be fighting this summer. Maybe Povetkin could get on a Logan Paul undercard.

    LOL

Best singular win goes to Fury for his win over Wladimir.

Best competition has to go to Joshua.

As for Wilder.....well, his weaknesses have been so obvious for so long now.

    Shame he'll have lost 3 of them. That's not a résumé, that's a "reach".

You're stretching the truth and twisting things, as per, and you know it. Everyone with a brain knows Joshua has twice the résumé Wilder does. Hell, a win over Parker is better than anything on Wilder's résumé alone, let alone wins over Whyte, Ruiz, Klitschko and Povetkin then his lower tier wins like Breazeale, Martin and Takam are better than/apart of half of Wilder's top 5 wins.

This is a two horse race, between Fury and Joshua. Fury has the better top shelf wins, but Joshua has the better top 5, Wilder shouldn't even be mentioned.
