Its Fernando Vargas, and add Raul Marquez, and Javier Castillejo to his resume.

Ah. I thought you meant resume in terms of experience and quality of opponents. My bad.

i think you have to go with vernon based on the fact that he took on what was considered the p4p #1 or #2 fighter in the world in his prime and basically destroyed him... and then beat him again

if you're gonna grouse about his victory over quartey you also have to put a question mark next to el feroz's w against winky

thats true. even though vargas probably wouldn't let that win go so easily....it's his crowning glory for me.

Beating a prime (unbeaten) Mosley twice is enough to rate Vernon the hands down winner of resumes of this bunch....

This is a tough question. But I will go on a limb and say Vargas for not just facing great competition but for looking good even in his losses.

Forrest has the two wins over the elite fighter, something those other guys do not. That makes him the better of the four. Vargas would have lost by knockout to Forrest.

Yes, but as I said above, Mayorga does have the two wins on Forrest. Mosley became the man by beating Hoya. Forrest became the man by beating mosley. Mayorga did it to Forrest and Forrest was elite.

It's not that strange that he kept getting the big fights because he knew how to sell a fight better than anyone. He truly beleived that no one could beat him and that confidence led to some of the greatest trash talk in history.
