Mayorga was also beaten up by everyone else. If you look at this whole career it looks like a good style matchup against Forrest. Sort of like Barkley vs. Hearns. Even though Hearns was greater than Forrest, the same style problems applied. Mayorga is the worst of the bunch in my mind. He was terribly overrated on his win over Forrest. Forrest was greater than Mayorga. Much greater.

 

He got the fights because guy knew he was easy to hit and would look good on thier resume as a decent win. Although Mayorga was way overrated. He is similar to a fighter in the 1980s named Juan Domingo Roldan.

Forrest's first win against Mosley was huge, I will never forget it... Mosley seemed damn near unstoppable at that point.

Yes he does deserve to be in the list, he beat Forrest once. I know Forrest had trouble with weight the first time and proved it in the rematch, Mora still took advantage of it and beat him. A journeyman class fighter wouldn't be able to take advantage of it.

Forrest had to be 100% to beat him. I'm not a fan of Mora either but those are facts.

 

um according to this logic cory spinks trumps em all because he beat mayorga... and zab judah trumps spinks... and carlos baldomir trumps judah... oh wait... i think we hit a snag here
