Hopkins dominated a Division did not avoid anybody did not hand pick his fights has never been KOed wiped the floor with the Tarver that beat Jones willing to take on all comers had traveled out of the country for fights (only once but that was one more than Jones ever dreamed of doing) is still a very formidable fighter in his mid forties.

If he fights and beats Adamek I don't see how ANYONE but the most delusional of nuthuggers could say Jones has a better resume. Jones fighting Ruiz would be the same as Hopkins fighting Fragomeni and not Adamek.

And again, Jones NEVER beat a unified, undisputed, or linear Champion in his whole career.

Resume? Its Hopkins. But he is not the greatest of the three...that would be Jones.

If I had to rank them...

    Jones
    Hopkins

    Toney.

Also consider how much bigger Hopkins win is over Trinidad, the undefeated Puerto Rican God at MW (are we actually COUNTING Jones win over his Trinidad? Haha!).

His biggest win came against a naturally smaller man ..Tito had no buisness at 160 or 168 ..

Other than his weight at ONE SEVENTY against Jones, Tito never fought at 168 or higher, right? So that's obvious. And while tito was better at the lower weights, he was plenty good at 160, as his Jirov KO shows and the vegas odds making him a huge favorite to beat Bhop. He was rightly a huge underdog against even an old, faded, jones since the fight was an obvious FARCE. If he is to be listed on Jones resume for this thread, may as well list every fighter Jones ever faced.

You mean ofcourse Tito´s Joppy ko rather than his Jirov ko, but anyway i agree. That was a solid, devastating win he had at 160 over an at the time respected opponent. I don´t recall people saying tito doesn´t belong at 160 before he fought hopkins that much.

And indeed, friggin anthony hanshaw was a bigger threat than the version of tito that Jones fought.
