Who is the best technician in current heavyweight division? What's your choose?

Tyson Fury is very skilled. But because the guy is 6ft9 and very mobile for his height, I don't consider him to be a really technician because he can use his height and reach very well. He can brawl on the inside as well. He is natural fighting man, but not the best technician.

Wilder has very horrible technique. But again, the guy is 6f7 and has long arms, terrific power etc. He can get away with many technical flaws because he has height and reach.

Joshua isn't very technical. But guy is 6ft6 and freak of genetic nature, his athleticism and power gets him far.

Luis Ortiz. 6ft3 and 240 lbs. Cuban technician over 300 amateur fights. Not in best shape, but his muscle memory and boxing brain one of the best in the game.

Alexander Povetkin. Best inside fighting skills in the game. Controls pace and distance very well. My top choice!

Wladimir Klitschko. Excellent against shorter fighters. Basically throws just jabs, straights and left hooks. Never goes to the body. Clinches a lot. Boring fighter. Too one dimensional. But because of his physical strenght and height, he can dominate.

Ruslan Chagaev. Probably best technician in the game? But the guy is in awful shape, bad stamina, which makes his gas tank empty and lose fights.

David Haye? Well schooled amateur, excellent timing and reflexes, good boxer/puncher fighter. But can't fight against good big guys very well.

Difficult in terms of just actually boxing ability like footwork, technique, IQ I think it's Ortiz then Hugh Fury.

    Accuracy combined with power-AJ
    Jab- Vlad
    Speed-Parker
    One punch power- Wilder
    Combination- Ruiz

I would AJ is the most complete offensive although defensively he is abit suspect. Plus every single one of these Heayweight has a flaw somewhere.

I don't know why Fury is discounted simply because he's tall. Using your height well requires technique and skill, it's not just something you're automatically gifted with. You need footwork, great command of spatial awareness, a solid jab, as well as the general demeanour that comes with being a bigger man (something which David Price for instance lacks). Fury can also fight well on the inside, switch stance, maul and brawl, he's a very complete fighter. Guys like Povetkin and Joshua might show more crispness in attack but they're limited in other ways (at least Povetkin is; we don't yet know about AJ).

I'd say for overall command of the tools at his disposal Tyson is easily number one.

With all due respect to Tyson fury which I think is a good fighter. However, I must say that almost all his opponents except wlad are peter mcneely types. I am not impress.

Chisora, Cunningham and Hammer are all respectable opponents.

I can agree with that, I would like to see more because on the other thread some people are proclaiming fury as one the best heavy ever.

That is true, I have never seen wlad look that bad, I think he look even worse than the Ko lost against sanders and Brewster lol

Best technique: AJ. Picture perfect right hand punched straight as an arrow. Decent jab. Good solid footwork.
Worst technique: Wilder. Looping mindmill punches you usually see in bar fights.

Joshua's right hand is far from picture perfect. And he has a terrible habit of swinging his arm back in an arc over his head once he lands.

Footwork is fine coming forward but the Whyte fight exposed a lot of problems once he's forced on the back foot.
