That thing he does with the right hand is a minor thing, he only really ever does it when he's at a safe distance, I think it's a leftover from the amateur style he had, to highlight when he landed a shot and I haven't noticed him doing it in his most recent fights.

But AJ's right hand is inconsistent. At it's best he throws it from the shoulder, doesn't telegraph it at all and it reminds me of Wlad's right hand but then other times he drops his right hand before throwing it, he was doing it a lot against Breazeale. That for me is a much bigger issue other than some flourish he does after throwing a punch when he's out of range. His tendency to drop the right hand is what allowed Whyte back into the fight when he was well on top and it could will continue to leave him exposed to a left hook until he fixes this issue.

Never occurred to me. Got a youtube video that shows it nicely? It would be a terrible flaw.

Its just to emphasise the fact he landed a good shot. Not a bad habit , just showboating.. Cotto used do the same thing

Fury all around. His fluidity and movement is freakish for a guy his size

    AJ is robotic

Wlad also has excellent technique but his style hampers the show
