    Yeh those were punishing. I think the Showtime commentators missed a HUGE uppercut in Round 4. He landed 2 massive uppercuts in Round 4, and the first one almost had Arce outta there. He was holding on for dear life and his legs were completely gone.

    Berto has a solid uppercut. He landed some good ones on Stevie Forbes.

    That said JMM has THE uppercut in boxing. In fact most Nacho Beristain trained fighters have tremendous uppercuts.

    Good catch. The uppercuts he landed on Elvin Ayala and Koren Gevor were brutal.

    The way he set up the uppercut was something to admire. I can careless if it was against the Tijuana policeman or his overweight sergeant for that matter; it was a thing of beauty. As far a Collazo, I would agree that he wasn't in his best form but his slick southpaw reputation was apparent against Berto who has never faced that kind of a style. Berto has consistently landed "effective" uppercuts on virtually all of his opponents up until Collazo so lets give the kid a bit a slack bud. :deal

    Good point. Berto has fought nothing but bums and therefore not only is he overrated but so is his uppercut that I've apparently been overrating. You've just convinced me.
