Kessler does not throw the uppercut enough to be considered the best in the game! He has never stopped an opponent with the use of the uppercut!

But true that the ones he landed against Calzaghe was as crisp as they come!

 

whats that meant to mean? stopping a guy with an uppercut means power

technique is different, when he throws it, its brilliant. im not talking just about the calz fight, i said before it that when calzaghe lowers his level and lunges in that uppercut would be a danger

EDIT: oh and kessler fights at range so he never really has much chance to use it

 

Could you point me to a kessler fight other than Calzaghe where Kesslers uppercut has been a factor?

My point is, that to be considered the best you have to have proven it over time. Not against a single opponent. You could argue that Kessler has the best jab in boxing, that makes more sense to me.

andre berto. He can fire off lightning quick right uppercuts seemingly at will. The one' s he lander aginst Trabant and rodriguez were masterful.

Zab Judah has a good left uppercut.

 

That is not an uppercut! It is a straight left thrown from an downward angle.

And in the Sartison fight the KO was due to exhaustion more than anything else.
