Additionally, Ross is a genuine Top10/15 p4p atg and he was seen to be in his prime at the time, Armstrong, a genuine Top3/5 p4p great, just made him look past it. The only other time where two possible Top10 p4p greats fought each other that right now comes to my mind is Greb-Walker and there Greb was past his prime and half blind and Walker just shy of his.

I say a tie between Dougles over Tyson or Ali over Foreman.

It is interesting how not everyone views leonard-duran as two genuine 15p4p I thought that was consensus opinion?

It was a great win for Duran but the way Ali beat Foreman was imo the greatest win maybe ever cause mostly everyone thought Ali is nuts to face an unbeateable dangerous ko artist Foreman who ko Frazier badly. Nobody thought Ali had a chance. But not only did Ali beat Foreman but shock everybody by tkoing Foreman. Ali is the only fighter to tko Foreman.

High risk/low reward fight is a fight where the risk is high and the reward is low.

Yeah, well this is another way of saying you talk ****, if you want to talk ****, go ahead, but don't be surprised when someone picks you up on it.

No!! Burley was having hand trouble and was passed his prime, he would lose to Lytell less than a year after Robinson ducked once and for all, whilst Robinson had gone on an insane run of beating championship level fighters!

Robinson was not "rising", where are you getting this from?! He was regarded as one of the best fighters in the world!

In comparing the two situations, you have actually slipped over the edge into mania, or, more likely, trolling.

Why is Greb/Walker on there over Greb/Tunney? And why in the hell is Hopkins/Trinidad on there?

Indeed. In relation to each other.

Yes, a year later. And Robinson would lose to LaMotta a year later. :good

Was he champion, already? How long in his career was he? 2 years? 3? I guess the description "rising contender" fits him quite good.

I ignored the stuff were you got personal btw., since it had nothing to do with this discussion. ;)

No, genius, LaMotta beat Robinson in 1943, three years earlier.

    :good

Wrong again...six years, and 70 fight pro.

    :good

It's not personal, it relates purely to this discussion on boxing. Your posting, in comparing the two situations can only be explained by trolling or a total misunderstanding of the situation (later sounds more likely now).
