Margarito...How is he going to stop 100 punches a round??? Margarito is the worse match up for him:

    Non-stop aggression and punches
    Power in both hands
    Insane Stamina
    Granite Chin
    Punches in all angles

He's like Castillo 10.0, but has a better chin, hits harder, trains harder, throws more punches and is huge to boot.

I can see Mayweather outboxing Cotto (and I can Cotto winning as well), but I see no way Mayweathers keeps Margarito off for 12 rounds.

He doesn't have the workrate or power to do so.

I disagree, though I'm undecided about this.

You think trying to outbox Mayweather would be the way to beat him or do you mean something else? That's suicide if you ask me - if it's mixing in boxing tenchnique predominately. That's like trying to beat Bobby Fischer at chess. If it's Cotto or Margarito, trying to hurt Floyd to the body, rough him up, and general brawling seems like a much better way to go. Those guys would be much better served trying to bust him up.

Margarito gave away the early rounds, but won the later rounds...besides that's a horrible example.

Williams is a 6'1" welterweight with an 81" reach and throws a 100 punches a round. Mayweather couldn't be more of a polar opposite.
