Morales was the smaller guy coming up to meet Raheem. In this case it's Mayweather who's the much smaller man. Mayweather's gonna bet outworked unless he throws at least 700 punches. He hasn't done that in ages.

well i dont think weight will be a big factor when it comes to marg against floyd @147 jus cuz mayweather is so much quicker w/hands & feet. he will bank in those rds..

I think cotto has become the number 1, he has depth of skill now, he beats floyd. I believe margarito is too predictable for a boxing wizard like floyd.

It's not weight that will be a factor, it's size, strength, and durability. Not to mention Mayweather being bothered by pressure, and Margarito being very good at applying pressure. He won't allow Mayweather to rest and get comfortable the way DLH and Hatton did. Margarito is not going to go 1 minute or so w/o throwing anything, as Hatton and DLH did at times.

He won't have a choice. I know Mayweather's defense is superb, but it's been built up so badly by fanboy you'd think no one could lay a glove on him.

Besides, you can't shoulder roll a body punch to the ribs. :D

But how do you hit mayweather to the ribs. Give an example of a fighter that caught mayweather to the ribs? did castillo?

Margo....Cotto is more of a boxer and no one...I mean NO ONE in todays boxing would outbox Floyd. The key would be to put tons of pressure on Floyd the way that Castillo did. That isnt Cotto's games, its Margo's thus he would have a better shot at winning vs Floyd...However I dont think that either would have much of a chance.

Now with that being said, I think that Cotto will beat Margo:good

Lance, dude, get this idea out of your head that Floyd would just stand there for Tony.

Tony would always be a step behind Floyd and constantly being thrown off balance. He wouldn't be able to plant his feet like he did against Cintron and quickly lose his focus out of frustration.

Floyd's too elusive and focused. Everything Tony would throw, Floyd would see it coming.

Cotto, I don't see him beat Floyd but he stands a better chance nonetheless.

Like its been said a million times. Volume punchers dont throw as many punches vs counter punchers. Margo would not be as busy in a fight with Floyd...Missing and getting countered has a way of slowing volume punchers down big time.

I think he kicks Margarito's ass without respite, Margarito isn't slick enough to worry Floyd and ultimately, it would just be Floyd's tireless defense and counter punching vs Margo.

Think Baldomir vs Floyd, with a few more rounds going to Margo.

Cotto on the other hand, sharp handspeed, good power, good footwork, able to cut off the ring and has a tonne of pride, he doesn't let himself lose, Margo has let himself lose on a couple of ocassions.

I'd take Floyd 55/45 against Cotto and 75/25 vs Margo.
