I think they are pretty similar but I give the edge to Hatton.

Cotto has the better chin IMO. Hatton was knocked out cold by Mayweather, and i don't rate Floyd's power at welterweight very highly at all, in fact he couldn't even shake Judah. I think Cotto would have dealt with Floyd's power easily and he also took bombs from both Judah, Mosley and Margarito( even with the hand wraps) so based on that alone, I'd say Cotto.

Not necessarily, Mayweather whips him but Tyszu was a 5round fighter at best, Castillo was shot, Collazo would get beat up, everyone else is pretty much C Class.

Hatton would lose to Mosley and Margarito without a doubt. And Judah/Quintana have the style to pull off a win. Hatton beats the rest though although Torres, Prime Ndou and Corley wouldnt be easy

Hatton has the better chin though

I doubt it. Cotto would've beaten that version of Tszyu too, and would've made short work of Collazo and the rest. No way in hell Hatton even makes it to the final bell v Mosley at 147, or Margarito.

They fight in different weight divisions. Cotto can't fight at 140, Hatton struggles at 147.

If Torres hooked Ricky's chin, then he could very well go. Outside of Urango, i believe Torres is the hardest puncher at junior welterweight, and certainly if Lazcano was able to hurt Ricky Torres would as well but even worse. I would also give Holt, Bradley, Urango (in a rematch) a shot at upsetting Hatton.

I feel hatton has the better chin:good...but to say that Cotto would have more than 1 loss? Who??Cotto would beat Collazo more convincing than did Hatton...Hatton would get knocked out by Mosley and Cotto beat Mosley...Floyd beats Cotto IMO but Floyd also beat Hatton...

Lets see Cotto at 140 now, lets see how good his chin is. He's a welter, full stop, and Hatton is a JWW. You have to compare them p4p, not in real terms.;)
