Who has the better chin: Hatton or Cotto?

I watched the ENTIRE fight along with the circus Malignaggi fight with his dreds all over the place.

Hatton got a break by the ref shorty after being ROCKED. I remember this in great detail because I remember thinking and saying that Hattons punch resistance was shot. And I was in shock over the reff giving the "convinent" break to tie Hattons shoes.

We are not talking jumping MULIPLE weight classes we are talking afew pounds difference and a class Hatton was a champ of. Why do u keep bringing up exsagerated exsamples like Pavlik or Jones?

You don't keep the same chin...If you drain yourself down to 140 and have to cut muscle like Cotto did than youd be a lot weaker and wouldn't be able to stay up hard if you got hit too flush...I think hatton has the better chin but Cotto is a better boxer!:thumbsup

 

I think Ricky's is more proven at this stage.

Cotto is the better defensive fighter in the textbook sense but I think he gets tagged as much if not more than Hatton because Ricky likes to maul, hold and close to distance whereas Miguel is there to be hit when tired because of his refusal or inability to do this.

Both have been stopped, both have been badly rocked..They are defo two men who have dentable beards but they hold up pretty well regardless.

He says Mosley will win rematch and Gayweather will beat Cotto
now a jr.welterweight is going to beat Cotto.

 

The fact he walked through shots against one of the hardest punchers in jnr welter history.
The fact he has beaten known punchers such as Urango, Maussa, Pendleton, Tackie, Phillips and pretty much never bat an eyelid in any of those fights.

Miguel has been hurt (whether it was clearly or not) against guys like Sosa, Ndou and Corley. And capitulated pretty quickly against Marga as soon as he started getting hit cleanly, whether his fists were loaded or not that night we will never know.

At this stage..I think Ricky has proven he can take a shot pretty well..So has Miguel but to me he has looked close to going more times than Ricky has..AT THIS STAGE.

Im putting an argument there for Ricky having to more proven whiskers but there aint a lot in it, as I said both have shown dentable beards..I dont think you can definitively say Cotto has a clearly better chin in any sense of the term.

I can be critical of Cotto and still be a fan...Im a fan not cum guzzling fan boy.

I fly the flag for Cotto more so then either of you..Im not going to apologise for not following him blindly like a ****.
