Its near impossible to answer a question like that definitely..There is no chin-a-meter that measures how tough a man is, there are to many factors involved in a question like that.

I still stated my position pretty clearly though.

And you think Hatton would have gone the distance with Margie?

Probably not...But I dont think he fills out to welter as well as Miguel does.

Ricky has been to welter and come back quite comfortably.

Miguel had to leave because he couldnt make the weight anymore.

Ricky is a physical fighter..against another physical fighter who is considerably bigger than him I dont he lasts no.

I've seen more criticisms come from you about Cotto, than I have positive...this is NOT something a fan does...

This thread is basically a battle between Hatton fans vs. Cotto fans...and a number of "neutral" comments made from people who care for neither.

A Cotto fan would come into the thread touting and proclaiming his favorite fighter's strengths when it's supposed to be touted...you do the opposite in nearly every thread. Fans of the same fighter are supposed to be united because of such a common favorite. Yet you implied that Cotto fans who don't "rationalize" are cum guzzlers :think...doesnt make sense

"Your fine with hitting a guy in the meat and potatoes but you wont clinch?"

    "Mayweather would beat Cotto"

"Hatton has proven he can take the stronger punch."

Are you forgetting that Hatton beat those punchers with his style...just because he beat them doesnt mean he has the better chin. Hatton was much faster and smoothered those guys punches rendering their strengths useless...WITH HIS STYLE!

Hatton has been wobbled by Collazo, Lazcano, Paulie (in the rare occassions that he threw punches), and Mayweather...none of which has astonishing power.

Whereas you have Cotto who's been wobbled by Corley (an underrated puncher) Torres, and Margarito...ALL BEING POWER HITTERS!

I must be a text book hater with talk like that.

This is the person I am...I will grant my favourite fighters extra leeway where I can but some things I cant leave.

It just comes naturally to me to look at both sides of the coin.

As I said Im not going to apologise for faulting Miguel...If you have a problem with me doing that than fine..Ill start my own Cotto fanclub :tong

Im a Pac fan even more than I am a Cotto fan and I have to deal with this **** from his die hard fanbase because I wont pick him over everyone in history..I just couldnt be bothered really, I am more than comfortable with my level of support for both fighters.

    Hater indeed

go ahead and start your own Cotto club...you'll find nothing but an empty room and two sheets of paper in the suggestion box

    1 being "You suck :tong"

and the other being "Please bring punch and pie :thumbsup"

What do you think his chances are of beating Berto?

Yea...that's fine. But he proclaims himself a Cotto fan...he says he doesnt hide the fact that he is...

Well...what Cotto fan do you types this kinda stuff? :huh

a BOXING fan may do that...but a Cotto fan would be far more reluctant

Ok fine..Im a fan of boxing more so than Im a fan of Cotto.

For me the sport is more than about just one fighter.

Is that what you wanted me to say?

Not really sold on Berto yet..But he continues to march along.

Really depends on how Cotto comes back from his loss...I dont even think Jennnings will be the best gauge anyway.

Right now I have no problem picking Cotto over him...how hard he does it though I cant say at the moment.

I think as one of the biggest Cotto fans I have integrity...but I also know not to jump into threads that I think Cotto would clearly not be favorable in.

"Who would win @ 147...Tito or Cotto?"

DUH! :nut Tito is the obvious answer...but I'm not going to go into the thread saying Tito would do this to Cotto or that to Cotto...

Doesn't every fan of a fighter only jump into these sort of threads to defend and argue IN FAVOR of their favorite fighter? :huh

At least you have THAT much confidence in Cotto...

But I still feel it's good to have a "fan" of your nature...it keeps the huggery level balanced as well as the flaws in perspective...

    You are appreciated sir :good
