I'd say Povetkin. But Jennings chin could prove to be better in the long run. Povetkins been stunned, but never dropped prior to fighting Wlad.

hard to call, povetkin tends to stand more in the pocket then jennings.

Jennings shrugged klitchko's shots off, povetkin was dropped and pushed down.

Jennings dropped and hurt by tupou. but wasnt really hurt by perez.

i think its impossible to know that! both have good chins. they can hit you with a huge punch and you are ready for it and they can hit you with a good punch and you are not ready and you go down. a good example its mayorga

Jennings has never faced a hard punching, pressure fighter, Povetkin has all kind of fighters in his resume. What prevented Jennings from going down was his style, not his chin. Let's not exaggerate him over a decent performance against Wlad.

Povetkin, given Jenning's is kind of untested even after the Wlad fight.

Well, let's see. Jennings was never knocked down by Wlad while Povetkin spent more time on his knees in his fight with Wlad than a cheap Russian prostitute.

Well Povetkin also never faced Top level hard hitting HWs besides Wlad.

Takam is an average puncher at best who couldn't drop ancient Grant and needed more shots to stop older (and more faded) Botha than 50 y.o. Holyfield. Old Holyfield hit harder than Takam

Chambers and old Byrd are featherfisted.

Rahman? Well he lost to 3-2 guy in his next fight, that's how shot was he. That 3-2 guy lost to 0-10 opponent in his previous fight.

Chagaev? Not really a hard hitter.

No one of them would've troubled Jennings' chin.

Also Jennings took Wlad's clean left hook whereas Povetkin was dropped like a sack of potatoes in 2nd round with light version of Wlad left hook.

We have to wait and see, hard to say now who can take the punch better.

Takam did stop Grant but that's not the point, those are a lot of names (and styles) to be tested against. You can't really dismiss names like Rahman, Byrd, Chagaev, Charr like that and also remember Huck who's a cruiserweight but also a great pressure fighter.

I actully think Povetkin's chin was tested in 3 fights

    - Wlad, a great puncher

    - Chagaev, decent and accurate puncher

    - Huck, though a cruiserweight, a solid puncher at CW, hit Powetkin with anything but a kitchen sink and never dropped him

Rahman on the other hand didn't land a single power punch on Sasha's chin.

Yes Charr, who had a 26-1 record coming to that fight. You can't really compare Povetkin's and Jennings's resumes. Povetkin has been tested against all kinds of names and styles whereas Jennings is still a rookie. While Povetkin was fighting Rahman, Jennings was fighting this guy http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=173591&cat=boxer use your laughing smiley now. I can't believe how people exaggerate a single good performance. In another thread someone one was saying Badou Jack is better than GGG. Having a good chin and being a good defensive fighter are completely different things.

Both have solid chins. But Jennings really didn't get hit much against Wlad so it's hard to compare his chin to Povetkin's as he get's hit far less than Povetkin.

Charr is absolutely atrocious. Why would anyone think that beating Charr and shot to **** Rahman means anything is beyond me.
